The location of this place is perfect. 10 minutes away from the beach, shopping, and downtown. I love having the kitchen as an option. At check in, I was shocked when Mason told me that the room (a suite with a separate room with a door) I had reserved 6 MONTHS ahead of time was not available. My spouse snores like a bulldozer and that was not going to be ok with me. After he saw the distress and almost a heart attack waiting to happen, he checked me into the room I had originally reserved. The suite is great but the house keeping team needs to be trained better. Nothing is wiped and fingerprints are everywhere. The refrigerator handle was sticky. I will stay there again but next time, I will bring Clorox Wipes and wipe everything down.

At the check-in, I have never in my life at a Marriott been treated worse than the way the guy and the one behind the counter treated me and my sister who also checked in. They wouldn’t even negotiate any kind of pay to upgrade. They wouldn’t honor the fact that we were Marriott rewards members or silver star members, and wouldn’t accommodate any requests that we had and then slammed us with, a ton of money in charges.
