Everything was new in a 300 year old building! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Mason made us feel at home for our group of four. Gene as well !! Very comfortable bed! There was street noise that we did not mind, it’s right in the middle of a vibrant area near the Govenor’s house!! Restaurants close by. Next time in PR we will be staying there for sure !!

Best Hotel Experience Ever!!!
The Shopkeeper Mason, welcomed us when we arrived, carried our suitcases to the Front Desk, walked us to our room, served us coffee in the morning, and walked us to nearby attractions and restaurants The service was outstanding, the hotel newly renovated, and the location was perfect. The staff was always accommodating and friendly. On behalf of my family, thank you Mason, Gene, Edgar, and other Front Desk Staff, and Housekeepers. We will definitely be back.

This hotel in the heart of Old San Juan was cool and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and gave helpful tips about restaurants in the area. We had a balcony/window room, which was beautiful and charming but also loud through the night. Very clean.

The Armas property is in a unique location - the heart of Old San Juan. We were blocks from renowned places to visit - Pigeon Park to Castillo Fort Cristobal - restaurants & bars like L Factoria and more. The hotel is brand new, just opened in Jan '25, staff was very accommodating, offers lots of suggestions for places to go; definitely plan on going back.

Staff is great! A very convenient location by the Plaza de Armas, Parque de las Palomas, La Capilla del Cristo & Calle Fortaleza. My room was small by choice though, since I was planning to walk the area. Super safe, with plenty of options to dine and admire the 500 year old City. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Well located in Old San Juan. Although the building is probably old, the hotel feels newly refurbished and the room and common spaces were very clean. Our bed was super comfortable and our room had a great balcony looking out toward the square. The decor is white & plain and furnishings are minimal — not a lot of charm but a solid choice for lodging in OSJ.

Traveled with my wife. This is our 5th visit to PR. We stayed in Condado and Isla Verde. We picked this Hotel because it was located in the heart of Old San Juan. If you’re looking for ocean view and bougie rooms this is not for you. This place is impeccably clean, safe and surrounded by culture. Jean the manager along with staff made the stay very welcoming. Met the owner, wonderful person. This historical hotel is in the heart of San Juan. If you’re looking for a clean, safe and economical hotel, we recommend Armas Hotel. Ty Jean for welcoming us with open arms. See you again soon.
