This hotel is overpriced and overrated. The rooms dis not have something as significant and useful as a microwave, very inconvinient for families with small children. The building looks like it hasn't been painted in years! There are small critters and roaches roaming around when you turn on your light at night.
The staff is not the friendliest (front desk).

When I walk in my room smelled a little funny but I said to my self it a island and the humidity is high, the next morning I was making my bad and found mold on my pillows and window curtain. Immediately went to the front desk, manager switched my room.. I he second room was very clean and smelled very nice.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel 6 times over the past 18 months because we enjoy the view and the easy access to the beach. However, during our most recent stay. I’ve never been in such an uncomfortable and embarrassing situation.
Everything started because we couldn’t get hot water in our room to take a shower, and when we tried calling the front desk, no one answered. So we decided to go to the reception in person to address the issue.
When we arrived to the reception, the doorman, CESAR, told us he would inform the engineer. I insisted on being moved to another room because we need shower right away, but instead of handling the situation professionally, he made jokes and did not take my concerns seriously. He started touching my husband's arms and acting as if he was flirting with him, laughing and making light of the situation. I even doubt if he was sobered.
I’ve never been in such an uncomfortable and embarrassing situation. Despite clearly seeing that I was upset, he continued with his inappropriate behavior. This lack of respect for guests is unacceptable, and we will never stay at this hotel again. The staff should show professionalism and respect towards their guests.
