Disappointing
Very nice young lady handled the check in. Very nice. Room was very noisy, very thin walls could hear conversations next door, and EVERY step step taken upstairs. The door was not plumb to the opening, hence a continual draft and whistiling from there. Mattress was lumpy. Room was clean,very pleasant staff. Disappointing.

Perfect view and walkable location!
The San Marcos is an affordable hotel in a perfect location to park the car and walk everywhere in town. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the ocean view rooms have a great view. It is an easy to maneuver hotel with free and very close parking. The included breakfast is also a quick bite to start your day.
This is a view from the second floor ocean view room! It is zoomed in, so you can’t see the street below in the photo. You can see the street in you actual view. 👍🏼

Nice place to stay. Friendly and close to the shops. Decent breakfast and nice jacuzzi. I would stay again but get the ocean view side it was only 30 dollars more per night.

The staff greeted me warmly when I checked in and throughout my stay. The room was well stocked with towels, a mini fridge, a microwave, a seating area for eating, and ample places to store luggage. The ice machine worked and was in a convenient location. The parking was well spaced and on the property. I would stay at this location again.

The staff who checked us in were warm and friendly. It is a cozy room with a mini fridge and microwave. The towels were plentiful and there was lots of room to store our luggage. I would definitely stay here again.
