The pool and gardens here are excellent. Internet not so much. You can tell the Hotel is suffering because of Covid but it's still lovely.

We were 2 blocks from the beach. It was very quite. The grounds and pool were beautiful and very well kept. The rooms were nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all fantastic and spoke english.

Expansive grounds when most places don't have much.
And at a good price. Good location.
It was not very clean. Cleaning staff would take used towels but not replace them. There were many little bugs crawling around.

Nice hotel amazing grounds. Like an oasis in the middle of the town’s chaos. Close to beach and amenities.

Great Location For Families

Pros: I was very happy with my choice as the hotel is reasonably prices and in an excellent location close to the beach and downtown.I really was impressed
Cons: There is not a restaurant on the property but within a short walking distance one can experience Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices
Location: it is close to downtown and the market and only a block or so from the beach. I suggest a walk up the mountain to a lookout with spectacular views.
My wife and I took the long way from Guadalajara to Puerto Vallarta and stayed two nights at this hotel in Melaque. I was very happy with my choice as the hotel is reasonably prices and in an excellent location close to the beach and downtown. I really was impressed by the lush vegetation on the premesis which created a jungle type effect within the confines of a small Mexican town. The pool was large and very clean and there were lots of opportunities for children of all ages to play. There are basketball and tennis courts, a full soccer field and a trampoline as well as a large number of our play toys to keep children occupied. There is not a restaurant on the property but within a short walking distance one can experience Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices. I will stay at this hotel again in the future.
