Very relaxing

Was pretty quiet and very relaxing. Would stay again. Just a short ride via golfcart to town, a few places… store, restaurants, street food vendors (my fave) just a walk down the street.

Fantastic place for a family vacation
Publié le 30 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed staying at the Royal Caribbean Resort! The staff was wonderful and the rooms (cabins) really comfortable. Unfortunately, the sandy beach in front of the resort was washed away. Fortunately, we were able to use the beach of their sister property two properties to the South.

Publié le 7 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayThe property is very beautiful and serene. This is not a loud party type of resort. Marcy and the two gentlemen who clean and maintain the property were always available and always were asking if everything was alright.
Check In was a little rough. There was no one in the office when I arrived even though it was within posted hours. I didn't have a phone with International Dialing so I couldn't call the number on the door. However, also on the door was a note with instructions on how to find Kim the Property Manager. She lives on site in one of the cabanas. When she did check me in, we found out I wasn't even listed as an arrival. Even though I had confirmation form vrbo indicating that my "keys were ready". Fortunately I had all my paperwork with me and I was able to check in!
I rarely saw Kim during my stay of 27 nights. Several times I went to the office and found the doors locked even though there was a sign indicating the office was open, and also a "clock" indicating when the manager would return which was always set at the same time each time I was there and was well past the time the manager should have returned. Several times I had wanted to book tours or arrange for a taxi but could not because the offices were locked.
Another complaint was that the beachfront area had been washed away by a storm several years ago and was still not restored. Pictures of the resort show a nice sandy beach which does not exist. These photos should be removed or it should be stated that the beach is unusable.
Again, Marcy was always available and concerned that everything was good with my accommodations. She made me feel welcomed.
I will stay again ... if the beach area gets restored ... or some discount is made available for not being able to use it.

When you come again to Belize, we'll be glad to offer you a discount even if our beach isn't fixed, as you will be a returning guest.
BTW, the beach by Island Wonder is also owned by the resort and is offered to our guests for free use all the time.

Some of the basics would be very helpful like a coffee pot, salt and pepper, seriously there is nothing useful in the units. The ad implies there are hair dryers, towels, laundry facilities, etc. You have to check each out and if you want to do laundry you need to take it to the office and they charge you for someone doing it....Marci, of course as she does EVERYTHING in this place. All in all a great time.

Wonderful place!

The grounds were kept nice and it was very quiet and peaceful. After the hustle and bustle of town it was nice to come back to our cabins and enjoy the peace and quiet. We were suppose to come in on Saturday but missed our flight and didnt get in until Sunday. They were very nice to give us credits toward air conditioning as well as upgrading to a two bed cabin. They were very accommodating when we needed it.

Loved it. Great little cabana. Pool was nice. Bar and food was excellent. Great deal.

Get AC. Bar and food is great. Plus next door either way has good places to eat or hang on beach. Pool was nice with umbrellas. Clean. Staff was helpful and friendly.
