Ça tombe bien on était venus chercher la tranquillité !
Pas de chance pour nous, deux jours de vent qui ramenait les algues sur la plage (comme dans toute l'île d'ailleurs), qui même néttoyée tous les jours restait impraticable. Notre dernier jour c'était un lagon !
Chambre spacieuse, manque un peu d'ustensiles pour qui veut cuisiner (certainement pour nous inciter à fréquenter le restaurant de l'hôtel, très bien !)
Hôtel à moitié plein seulement lors de notre séjour, ce qui nous a permis d'avoir la piscine rien que pour nous (heureusement car 2 piscines mais pas bien grandes).
Personnel disponible, de même que celui de "no worries tour" qui propose des activités (nous avons pris le tour en bateau avec arrêts snorkeling et visite de Caye Caulker)
Donc dans l'ensemble, hôtel à recommander.

We enjoyed our time at the property and I personally would live there at the property. :-) The only things that drove me crazy was the grime and rust around the sink and all the mosquitos in the area. Couldn't enjoy the pool because the bugs kept on biting. You are literally attacked by them as soon as you walk out the door. Couldn't swim at the beach because of the seaweed, but there were people attempting to clean it up but you cant control the sea.
Also, the location of the property is located in Mexico Rock and about 45 minutes - 1 hour on a golf cart from the water taxi in san Pedro and depending on the weather conditions. Please take that into account when going.
Secret beach is about 20-30 minutes by golf cart.
Please purchase food in town before coming in as there are no markets and very limited food options in the area.
Overall, I would recommend if you want something quiet, secluded, and away from the hustle of the city.

The staff at this resort were very rude. And everything was about a money grab. I even had to remind the staff several times About the VIP package which included free breakfast . After having a disagreement with the front desk, employee, Lisandro, he then advised the Staff working at the dining restaurant to charge us for items that we previously were told we were included in the free breakfast package . He had the staff repeatedly come back and charges for different items after the disagreement . They claimed there was 24/7 available for assistance, but when we called for several different issues regarding our room, no one answered the phone until the next day around 10 AM. The air conditioner, and two out of three of the rooms were not working. We asked him to take a look at the toilet that would not flush, they sent a maintenance man who did not look and told us that it was fixed. We then had to ask him to go back and look at the bathroom, which then forced him to actually fix it. These people were rude and unprofessional, and I will not recommend this stay to anyone.
They tried to charge my card without my permission/authorization for an activity that I told them I was not going to partaken and was simply considering it. No written contract, nothing was agreed-upon for this activity, and because they were upset that they could not make that money, they proceeded to charge my card, even after I told them no. As someone who travels quite frequently, this was not great

IT is far from town so very quiet = nicely kept grounds- very friendly workers

To remote location, road is not maintained very uncomfortably ride off roading surfaces and must take it to get around.
No water taxis to and from this hotel.
Hotel is in need of maintenance, showers are in need of servicing requested and no change. Water trickles out. No pressure.
pool bottom needs repair paint worn off so gives the effect of algae but actually isn’t.
Tiki bar open when bar tenders shows up. They tell you specific hours but never the same, One day not open at all. So if you want a drink must go to small restaurant on property And that particular day other employee in restaurant does not know how to make drinks. Insufficient supplies. Ran out of pineapple juice and other items on menu.
Be sure to get a golf cart from San Pedro when you land prices can be negotiated to $35us a day weekly rate as at the hotel it is $75us daily and they do not have available carts on property at all times and you may find you ll be stuck without transportation as we did one day.
Taxis are $60us each way.
Recommend if you want to be this remote staying at a location with water taxi service you may pay more rate wise & resort fee includes Transfer back and forth daily. In the end you ll save money ie margarita ville or stay closer to San Pedro.
Caulker cay is suppose to be much nicer smaller easier to get around.
Positive weather was beautiful.
People are friendly.
Water and views amazing.
Next time not a next for me. ✔️ed off list.

Hi Clayton, thank you for taking the time to write about this interesting experience. It's so curious that you rated your experience so low yet chose to extend your stay by 3 nights in addition to your booking on Expedia. Normally, we find that guests who are uncomfortable with a destination ask to leave it, not extend it. We also would like to remind you that you booked a 3-star property at around 100 a night, so comparing our property to a luxury 4-star internationally franchised resort with nightly rates of 300 and above is hardly a proper comparison. Not to mention, have you seen their reviews? Yikes! We encourage you to do your research in the future when booking your stay to ensure the destination is to your liking and affordability. We find that many of our travellers enjoy the adventure of heading into town and enjoy the remoteness of our property as it allows them to escape the loudness and stresses of the town core while being able to come and relax in a secluded location that feels private. We have no record of your maintenance requests, but we will investigate the shower issue you mentioned. We shall also follow up with the bar establishment regarding the established hours. Lastly, as mentioned, we advise that guests do proper research on their destination before travelling to ensure they can afford the costs of amenities and the cost of items in the destination before claiming things are too expensive.

However, we wish you had given the property more than 12 hours before departing and then claimed the property was at fault for your lack of research into the destination.
