the ad say when you search 30 people but they aloud only 13
Posted Jun. 22, 2023 on HomeAwaythis is ridiculous because when you search for property it say 30 people but they aloud only 13 , adiccional person cost more ,plus we wait for the people who live there to receive everything and they say everything is ok after i got charge ridiculous amount for a broken pool chair, that we never saw the picture

Our pricing policy is designed to be transparent and fair to all guests. The base rate for our property includes accommodation for up to 14 people. Any additional guests beyond this number incur an extra cost. This approach ensures that our guests have the flexibility to choose the appropriate accommodations for their group size.
In the event that a guest reserves the property for 14 people or fewer but arrives with a larger group without prior notice, we must bill them for the difference. This policy is in place to uphold the terms of our agreement and ensure fairness to all guests.
While such situations are rare, our primary concern is to maintain the integrity of our rental agreements. We want our guests to enjoy their stay while respecting the terms they have agreed upon.
Furthermore, in the unlikely event of any damage to the property, we take immediate action by providing the guest with detailed information and, if necessary, photographic evidence. Our intention is to address any issues swiftly and transparently, allowing for a fair resolution.
We deeply regret any misunderstanding regarding the terms of your reservation and hope that this clarification helps clarify our policies. We value your business and are committed to providing a positive and trustworthy rental experience for all of our guests.

Amazing
Posted Jun. 12, 2023 on HomeAwayThis property is breath taking. I brought all the moms in my family here for Mother’s Day weekend and everyone felt amazing here. The care takers were amazing so helpful. Karina the cook made us amazing food. Can’t wait to book this property again.
Note that the road to get there is all dirt road and it feels like you are driving to the middle of no where but once you get to the stone road you are right there.

Great vacation to remember for a long time.
Posted Nov. 30, 2022 on HomeAwayThe owner has provided everything we could possibly require, We felt so welcome. This is really a good place to spend time
with friends and family. We had someone cooked for us and she was excellent, very impressed with her.
The house is very clean and well maintained. Good security all the time and only a 10-20 minutes drive from the main city.
We are planing to go back again soon.

Solyar Beach Trip.

However, the road had been washed out by a rain storm a week before we got there and not just any car, or bus for that matter was able to cross. The house was very clean. We had a wonderful time! The property manager and cooks did their best to make us feel comfortable, but the electricity went out during a very light storm for 8 hrs, and the generator only had 2 hrs. of gas. those 6hrs were over night with no fans no A/C. Hence very hot and sweaty night. We would love to come back, and we would recommend this place to our friends and family. When in Nicaragua patience is the virtue to have a great time!!!!! We will be back again!

Thank you for staying in our home with your group. As you are aware, a week ago Nicaragua was affected by floods from Hurricane Julia and the roads and other infrastructure are damaged, the government has limited ability to repair them promptly and I apologize for this inconvenience on the road and electricity.
I am glad you had so much fun and the house so comfortable, that you are coming back soon!

Beware of overcharges
Posted May 13, 2022 on HomeAwayMy mother always taught me to say something nice. This house is large and right on the beach, those are he nice things. On checking you will be greeted by a topless man smoking cigarettes in a broken lawn chair. There is a no pets rule in this house, unfortunately the caretaker does not follow this rule and their 2 dogs will invite themselves to every meal whether you like dogs or not, they will be under foot in the kitchen and parked at the dining table for every meal. The cleaning staff is surly and unfriendly. The screens are broken or missing so you can not keep windows open so you must use A/C, then the owner will try to charge you extra for electricity. We paid $400 up front for electricity and then he tried charging another $200 after we checked out. $600 for electricity for 4 days?? If you ask for anything you will be instructed to provide it yourself, including garbage bags. This is not a luxury rental by any means including and especially the bed linen . If you are more up roughing it and don’t mind paying top dollar then go for it. Otherwise I would avoid this rental.

Mr. Gorden reserved our home for 10 guests and brought 27 people without informing us or paying for the extra guests. I received a call from him one day complaining that the housekeeper was being helpful because she was not providing enough towels, which seemed odd as she is very kind lady. I texted the housekeeper to provide more towels than the 10 originally assigned for his group, thinking that they were spending a lot of time in and out of the water. Later I learned that they violated the house rules bringing excess people and had requested 60 towels to the housekeeper for their large group.
Mr. Gorden has refused to pay for the excess people and, of course, they consumed an enormous amount of electricity for their large group.
He is in our DO NOT RENT list.

Family Beach Vacation

Cares only about getting your money
Posted Mar. 30, 2020 on HomeAwayWe had to leave Nicaragua early during to the State Dept Wantnig level (Corvid19). When asked in to get a refund during to not being able to stay in country. They refused to refund the money we paid in full prior to our stay.

Family Beach trip
Posted Jan. 15, 2020 on HomeAwayEveryone from the property manager to the domestic staff were friendly and helpful beyond our expectations. House is beautiful, well maintained and the kitchen is stocked with all you should need for food prep. Our experience was mostly positive, but we were surprised to find out that our energy usage warranted such a large fee. If the expectation is that no matter what you do, there will be a fee for energy, that should be stated at the beginning and the property owner should be clear about what to expect. We were very conservative with our use of the A/C units and had fewer guests than anticipated so our energy usage should have been under whatever they considered reasonable.
