Property was clean with all amenities available for use. Great location and owner very accommodating and let me check in earlier than the recommended time.
Will def consider staying here again

The room itself is nice, nice view but the room is a glorified self contained rumpus room inside the owners house. We were warned that she was having guests over and that there would be some noise only after we’d booked and paid. 9.30 pm the guests arrive and the room above is her living space. Whilst trying to sleep, we heard footsteps thumping across the floor, people talking loudly, chairs being pulled out from under tables, appliances being plugged in….., so clearly it was like we were in the same room. We arrived at 6.30pm for 2 nights and left by 10.30pm. False advertising at its best. And of course a total unwillingness to refund, what a surprise. This is not an “apartment” it’s a self contained room in the owners house where she lives, be warned.

Evan is right that the apartment ( or self contained room how Evan described it ) is directly below a living area. Normally this part of the home is unoccupied. In this instance I had guests from overseas who notified me of their arrival just a few days before. I did notify Evan that there may be some extra noise on the premises, which no host or a manager of any hotel ever mensions by the way.Evan left apartment before 22.00 hrs , which by coincidence is the time for keeping noise to a minimum as a rule overall and is actually when all the occupants left the living area. If I can add that as a result of Evans unexpected departure I felt quite emotional as I've never experienced anything like this! as a result I offered the guest the chance to come back in the near future for 3 nights ( Evan initially booked for 2 nights)I have nothing further to say, I don't feel I did anything wrong as in every accommodation place there are instances of noise and worse..! I did have on that night quite a few guests staying with me but I always respect the guests privacy and their right to enjoy themselves but we really haven't done much wrong as the rule in my apartment does allow everyone to feel free before 10 pm.So , I want to apologise publicly for Evan if this event caused that much inconvenience to him as I must say I definitely did not at the time felt it was creating.
