The place was great for one night. The bed was comfortable. A couple things that need to be fixed. The shower door doesn’t stay shut and the shower head comes directly out of the ceiling.
Overall it’s quiet and safe.

Wildflower stay
Publié le 1 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe totally enjoyed San Saba. We were close to to town and our activities. We loved the pecan stores downtown and the restaurants.
The little Wildflower was quaint and clean. The bed was comfortable. It was very hot in town so ac was a welcoming plus.

Cozy
Publié le 17 mars 2023 sur HomeAwaySheri, the cottage needed some things that are usually provided. Needed TVs that worked. Paper towels in kitchen. Coffee filters (fortunately I brought some with me). Dish soap to clean our cups, coffee pot, etc. Body soap in the bathroom. Have you ever used shampoo to wash your body and hair?

I am sorry to hear about your concerns you had during your stay. After consulting the telephone company it was discovered that there was a lightening strike that took out all of our internet wiring. We had it replaced and purchased new television sets as they were damaged. Unfortunately, it was not in time for your stay.
We strive to make each stay better than the last. I have spoken to our housekeeper and she has been instructed to inventory all of the toiletries. We will add a bar soap to our list. We do have a shower gel for our guests.
Next time you stay with us please let me know of your concerns so I can fix them immediately. I was surprised that you were unhappy as we had spoken several times and you did not mention anything other than the TV.
Again, we are very sorry about the missing soap and we will correct it in the future.

Family Christmas
Publié le 21 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayI rented three rooms. This was the best of the three but the communication is terrible with this owner. We couldn’t get in because of a problem with the lock. It was fixed but the windows here are not secure. We watched the maintenance man push the plexiglass out of the window, crawl in and then fix the door. He then screwed the plexiglass back in the frame. I could fit my hand up to my knuckles through the gap. As in my other review, I know that the owner will just blame the tenant for all bad reviews but we rent through vrbo frequently and have never had a stay as bad as this one. I will never rent from these owners again. Sherri was very rude on the phone and spoke to me like all the issues were my fault.

We are terribly disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay. When you contacted me you were hysterical and it was difficult to speak to you. You mentioned the door sticking and I called someone to assist. Thank you for alerting me to the security of the windows. I will get those fixed ASAP.
We do hope you come back to San Saba as there is lots to do and plenty of other places to stay.

Anniversary stay in San Saba

The place was convenient and quiet.
We left one day early of our planned stay. Both me and my husband developed severe allergies and wondered if it could be something in the room. We were better by the time we arrived home.
