Very Nice Apartment with great views
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayA nice place to stay in San Sebastian. The apartment has a great view on the bay from all the rooms and the master bedroom is beautiful. Flat fully equipped.There is a small terrasse which fits two persons.The flat is closed to the beach and you can walk or take easily the frequent buses to old town. Supermarkets and restaurants near by.The flat is on a high hill which explains the great view and the steep walk on the way back to the flat. Gonzalo has been accommodating with an extra request for my family.

Beau séjour à San Sebastien

À pied il y a une petite côte bien pentue pour remonter a l’appartement.
L’appartement est très pratique avec le garage privée et le propriétaire très sympathique.

L’appartement design super équipé et confortable, une vue de rêve, le quartier calme et près de tout, la plage à 5mn à pied, facilité pour le Check in et Check out et l’excellent accueil de Gonzalo!

Location pour 4 adultes :
Pas de table et chaise pour les repas (contrairement aux photos), un mangé debout pour 2 ???
3 verres a vin
Pas de bols....
Équipements a revoir!!!

Es la primera valoración que tengo mala, todo el mundo está contento con el apartamento.
Estos inquilinos han sido extremadamente sucios, su perro lo ha dejado todo lleno de pelos, en el sofá, en la ducha, etc,etc.
No es lo normal todos los clientes franceses en general son muy limpios, estos señores no.
La persona que limpia el apartamento se le ha tenido que pagar un extra de la fianza por lo sucio que estaba el apartamento. Además han molestado a los vecinos con el perro que es demasiado grande para un apartamento tan pequeño.
Cuatro adultos más un perro grande, tendrían que haber buscado algo más grande.
Es normal que su valoración sea negativa se les cobró 50 eur de la fianza por suciedad.

Not good for old adults
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were four older adults and the apartment is completely unsuitable for this. One room with 2 beds, barely had room for anything else. No dresser, no closet, no hooks for clothes or towels, nothing. There was deliberately no photo of this room on the booking page. One of the beds was folded, i.e. the mattress was on the floor, the other bed on top of it, without an explanation of how it could become 2 beds.
In the other bedroom a queen size bed with only one comforter, although I requested a comforter for each person immediately after booking, which was confirmed by the owner but not honored. The bathroom and toilet opened into the room without a door. The showers in both bathrooms had no handles to hold on to, which was problematic for us older people.
The heating control had no instructions and was not intuitive to use. It was quite difficult to regulate the temperature.
After complaining, the host offered to go to a hotel and pay out the rest of the rent, but we had rented an apartment to sit together, chat and not eat all our meals in restaurants. The kitchen was quite well equipped for this.
Conclusion: Acceptable for parents with two small children, too difficult for us older people.

Hi Peter. I'm sorry that the apartment was not to your liking. But I have to tell you that the small room is described on the platform as well as the photos. The temperature of the apartment is regulated with a thermostat that is quite intuitive and normal. You were offered the possibility of a change of apartment, and in the end after rejecting your offer, (which should have added €300 to your bank account) you were offered a refund and to go to a hotel for the inconvenience. I don't think they are ways to act even if you are older people, maybe it will be useful for the next occasion and book a hotel, although I doubt it will be at the price you paid for being in one of the best areas of San Sebastian and with these views I guarantee You will pay more than 500 euros per night and per room, and with these views very few. Also tell you that the apartments are subject to rules that perhaps because they are older people they do not understand very well. The delivery of the passport. Throw away wine bottles. Leave the apartment in the same conditions. Have contact with the owner if he is writing to you. These are basic rules in all apartments. The same as a hotel, maybe they don't travel enough to understand them or, as you say, they are too old. The evaluations of other users do not say the same and they value the place where they are, but I am sorry that you did not like it and I recommend that you choose a hotel next time, but I do not think that a hotel accepts discounts.

Amazing stay in San Sebastian in an amazing flat

Fantastic communication with Gonzalo, really clean apartment. Definitely recommended and will come back every time I come to visit Donosti. Many thanks Gonzalo!

Fabulous appartment with incredible views

Little trouble accessing the appartment initially as couldnt get into the key box, however neighbour had a spare key. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Magnificent views and chic apartment
Publié le 30 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayFirstly, the pictures don't do the apartment justice. It's simple and minimalist but very attractive and very comfortable. The views are outstanding, and the walk down to the beach is easy and convenient. Would absolutely recommend!
