We stay here all the time. It’s clean and convenient. It has a wonderful beach and non fires at night. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a great stay.

The property needs a complete make-over. The rooms are outdated and the bathrooms are dirty. Not a lot of amenities available for guest. The cable TV has very limited selections and the signals are bad. The heater was noisy at night and kept me up at night. Won't stay here again.

Lovely setting by the ocean
We stayed here on an overnight trip down the Pacific Coast Highway. The amenities were great here: very good gym for a motel, hot tub, easy access to the ocean. Because of its location (and maybe because Hwy 1 is still closed) it was very quiet, even with a road view to the room. I would absolutely stay there again.

This property is connected to the Cavalier, you actually check in at their front desk. But this place is a little run down. No AC in the rooms, and the vent in our room was all rusty and ugly looking. The fridge looked super old and worn, but it did get cold. Beds were ok. The pool downstairs had a sign that said closed by the county, the sign looked like it had been there since Covid, but there was access to two other pools to use. You also have access to the fire pits and grassy area, but the grass was all dry and full of stickers. All in all we were not too impressed with the place but it served its purpose for a one night stay.

The room was not clean. The furniture was dusty. The sheets stained. The mattress was not very comfortable and the pillows were very thin. The shower was dirty. The furniture was old and worn, the desk chair had lost its leather. There was stagnant water with mold around the office. On the other hand, the location is perfect because it has a beautiful view. The staff was friendly and the breakfast in the restaurant was very tasty.

The location was amazing. The Firepit on the lawn was great. People were friendly. I had a hard time sleeping at night as the air condenser was on and loud. Also, there are thin walls and the next-door neighbor had his TV on all night. The cleanliness is lacking. I don’t think I would stay here again.

We had to check into another hotel that took over this hotel and this hotel swimming pool was closed by the city. It was an indoor one no air conditioning. The showerhead was low only small people can fit. The chair was messed up was old and cracked. the fan made a lot of noise, but the people at the Front desk did very best to make our stay comfortable

Stains on carpet, buzzing sound all night in room, loads of trash just outside room and a view to a wall with weeds growing on it. Good thing for the connection with the Cavalier Hotel (front desk and restaurant) and closeness to the beach for that saved our visit.

A good place on the ocean. A little isolated when highway 1 is closed. Room was large bed comfortable and restaurant good. Overall a good value.
