Beautiful views of the ocean abound from all rooms, open floor plan built around large common area good for family gathers while providing privacy for each guest to spend time alone. Smoke room to walk around property to stretch your legs, private and secure. Absolute gem on Big Sur coast line, can’t ask for anything more.

Heaven on earth.

The fog rolled in, the fog rolled out. The wind blew. The sun shone. Whales and dolphins swam by. Deer and rabbits visited.
We hiked to a waterfall at Ragged Point Inn
We splashed in the ocean. We soaked in the very hot hot tub.
We slept well in comfy beds and cooked delicious meals in the great kitchen. We played games by the fireplace and checked tide charts with the zippy internet. To top it all off, the property manager is extremely polite and accommodating, and is a fast and easy communicator.
There is no reason not to stay here. If you're lucky enough to have the chance, don't pass it up. We have been staying in Vrbos for many years and are quite particular. This is one of the best places we've ever stayed. We didn't want to leave, and are trying to find a way to return as soon as possible.

Amazing views and more

Two important things to note, the Big Sur reference is a bit off and although it does say "south" it should probably reference San Simeon or Cambria in the title. It is a 15 min drive to Cambria and a bit over 1 hour to Big Sur. It might even be closer to San Luis than Big Sur... Also, this place does not have AC so it can get a bit hot. If you are not comfortable sleeping with a fan on, you might want to consider late summer travel to this location.
The rooms and beds were great, the kitchen was well appointed. We were not able to get the surround sound system working or find instructions to do so, but it was not that big of a deal.
The views, the windows, just absolutely insane. I have traveled extensively, literally been on the sand at resorts, however, this place makes you feel like you are in the ocean. One of the best views we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to explore the central coast of CA.
We traveled with small children (18 mos old) to young seniors (70 yrs old) and the property fit all very well. I would also like to note, there was a comment about security concerns, I do not agree that the place is unsafe. We never feltuncomfertable once our entire trip.

If you are looking for a place to hold a family reunion, this place is it. If you are wondering whether God is alive and well, come here! If you need to reconnect to your spirituality, come here. I could go on and on! The view, the decks, the comfort, the attention to detail, the many extras, ... WOW!!!

Relaxation Oasis

It is an incredible view, a great spot to watch the sunset, and the surf provides a great relaxing sound track. Our family enjoyed watching a traditional Christmas movie in the entertainment room. Plenty of space at the table for board games and cards.
The kitchen is a great place to cook while enjoying the great view.
Very lovely, we look forward to visiting again.

Wish we lived there!
Publié le 16 août 2022 sur HomeAwayOur family enjoyed the home so very much. It's perfect for a family who likes to chill and watch their kids run around all the outdoor paths and find all the homes great secret benches and breathtaking views.
We saw a deer in our yard as welll as the best parade of 10-15 pheasant - like birds!
The house is great inside and all of us would love to live there!

Amazing private getaway

Enjoyed visiting Hearst Castle, Cambria and Big Sur but mostly enjoyed sitting on the patio with a glass of wine enjoying the views. Our family will be returning in the future.
