Villa Gialla is set in a quiet Contrada, very close (within 3km) to the pretty town of San Vito Dei Normanni. The villa is also very close to the beaches on the Adriatic sea and Brindisi Airport. Set within an acre of land comprising of olive, fruit and nut trees with ample secure parking. Perfect for anyone wanting a very peaceful holiday, with a central location, to explore and experience the unspoilt region of Italy and sample a taste of real Italian country living. The large covered veranda is perfect for relaxed outdoor dining. The accommodation has undergone a complete renovation, new bathroom and kitchen, double glazed windows and air/heat conditioning units in every room. The area has great restaurants, bars and supermarkets where you can sample the local delights and specialities.
Puglia is a beautiful area to visit with lots to see and do. Many local markets and hypermarkets, banks, fresh fruit and vegetable stalls to sample the local produce. There are numerous restaurants to sample the delicious Italian cuisine. Fantastic panoramic views all within easy driving distance from the villa. If you are looking for something authentic, very Italian; have you been searching for something charming and different, then Puglia is for you. It is a land of extraordinary colours and wonderful variety. Here you will find an undulating plateau of rich red earth, dark green pine-forested hillsides, silvery green olive groves and lush vineyards; sparkling white labyrinths of towns with historic centres which seem to glisten in the sun; grey and natural hues of the Baroque churches and ancient castles; and all against a backdrop of blue Mediterranean sea and sky.' Brindisi Airport is a 15 minute drive away. Bari Airport 1 hour away. Car essential to explore all there is to see.

Villa and surrounding areas: The accommodation has recently undergone a complete renovation, new bathroom and kitchen, double glazed windows and air/heat conditioning units in every room. The accommodation is on one level, easily accessible for children and people with mobility problems (one small step onto the veranda).The large covered veranda is perfect for relaxed outdoor dining. Set within an acre of olive, mature fruit and nut trees. Outside table and chairs provided under the covered veranda for alfresco eating. Plenty of secure parking.

San Vito Dei Normanni town centre 10 mins away. Ostuni (White City) 15mins away, all with great restaurants and shops. Aberobello 45 mins away is a must to see . Visit the local zoo safari and water world in Fasano 45 mins away. All distances are approx. Within a short drive, there is the World Heritage site at Alberobello,with its Trulli's (cone shaped buildings), the white hilltop towns of Cisternino, Ostuni and Locorotundo, the bustling town of Martina Franca

Coastal/Beach: The beautiful beaches along the Adriatic coast all within 20 mins drive from the villa.

Puglia has the longest coastline of any Italian region, and close to Ceglie there are beautiful sandy beaches and quiet rocky coves, lapped by the clean blue waters of the Mediterranean.

Belle villa
Villa très calme,idéal pour se reposer !La piscine et la climatisation sont très appréciable par ces fortes chaleurs.Seule point négatif,un frigidaire trop petit pour 4 et l’absence de congélateur.Steve et Jean sont très serviables et très réactif aux moindres problèmes.Beaucoup de patience pour nous expliquer les choses même en ne parlant pas la même langue. Pour conclure,une villa parfaite point de vue qualité prix.

Maison sympa mais manque d ustensiles (cafetière, verre à vin) et pas d eau à boire
La maison est sympa, dommage tout de même qu'il n y ait pas de.cafetière, on est tout de même en Italie, pas devverre à vin alors que le vin des Pouilles est réputé. Pas de théière pour une maison d anglais ! Ce qui nous a le plus déplu est d apprendre qu'il fallait acheter de l eau en.bouteille car l eau du puits n était pas garantie. Mais ce qui nous a choqué c' est qu'il n'y avait même pas une bouteille d eau au frais alors que nous venions de faire 1500km.et qu'il faisait 39 degré. Dernier point l odeur de la maison n'est pas tes agréable. Par contre piscine super chou et agréable après une journée de visite.

Villa sympa, petite piscine en bout de terrase pratique et agreeable, fruits à volonté. Bien équipée et agreeable, calme garanti , clim parfait. Vistes géniales autour, la reserve naturelle de TORRE GUACETO, Alberobello et ses TRULLIS, MATERA, la promenade le soir en bord de mer à BRINDISI.......

Belle et agréable maison, mais quelques points à améliorer.
La maison est agréable et fonctionnelle, les pièces sont spacieuses et dans un bon état général. La maison est jolie et située dans un quartier calme. Les extérieurs sont plaisants, la propriété est assez grande et la piscine est plus grande que sur les photos environ 4mx4m. Le salon de jardin et les chaises longues en plastiques sont dans un état assez moyen. Les petits défauts selon moi sont, le réfrigérateur de petite taille sans partie congélation (dans un pays aussi chaud les glaçon serait utile...), la literie de la chambre parental assez moyenne (celle des deux lits jumeaux est correcte), et la propreté générale à notre arrivée n'était à la mesure de nos attentes. Pour résumer, la maison à un bon rapport qualité/prix mais a quelques défauts facilement corrigeable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Gialla. The beds were very comfortable and the linens clean. There were plenty of fresh towels and blankets. We appreciated the use of the washer. The water heater was more than adequate. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet. The location is great for visits to San Vito, the pasticceria, the bars, the shops, and the restaurants. We met many very friendly people in town. We hope to return someday.

The property was as advertised on the website. Quiet area in the countryside but just a short drive to a small town and local beaches. The property was a good base to explore the Southern area of Puglia. The owner and agent were very helpful and made sure that we had everything we required for our stay.

Siamo stati a fine agosto in questa bella villa: ci siamo goduti (sopratutto i bambini) la piscina. Per noi 5 la casa è stata più che sufficiente come spazio. Unico neo frigo un po’ piccolo per 5 e l’assenza del congelatore. Ma abbiamo semplicemente fatto la spesa più spesso, tanto eravamo in giro per visitare vari posti o al mare!

Nice property with private pool in good location to visit Puglia. Very friendly neighbours. Airconditioning in living room and each bedroom was à gift from heaven. Even when it was 42’ C outside it was fresh inside. We only missed a freezer.

Schönes, zweckmäßiges für 4 Personen geräumiges Haus außerhalb der Stadt inmitten weitläufiger Grundstücke mit Baumbestand von Oliven, Feigen usw. Die Lage ist angenehm ruhig, ohne Verkehrslärm. Sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter englischer Vorortservice. Top Aufenthalt, immer wieder.

Relax in the Apulia countryside.
Relaxing property with confortable pool. Where refreshing in these really hot days. We appreciated the possibility of picking fruits from the trees in the garden (figues, grapes and plums). The villa is confortable (maybe a small Freezer would be a plus in the kitchen) , with air conditioning in all rooms. Derek, Steve the agent and his wife Jean are very present for every need. We All had a very pleasant week.

perfect retreat in a beautiful region of Italy
The villa is just as described, very comfortable, well furnished, and well equipped. It was clean, very spacious and a blessing to have air-con in every room as the weather was very hot. it sits in a very quiet rural area but is close to San Vito and its shops bars and restaurants. Its very central in the region of Puglia so easy to drive to the main sights and the lovely beaches. Its a beautiful area to explore. The agent , we found to be very helpful and we particularly enjoyed picking and eating the figs, plums and grapes which grow on the villa's fruit trees. would definitely go back and we highly recommend this well priced villa.

Sehr schöne Domizil.
Sehr schöne Haus,die Austattung ist für Urlauber OK. Sehr ruhige Umgebung,sehr sicher,wer Erholung braucht muss einfach hin. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen. Sehr große Lob an Ray, sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Leider wegen Feuchtigkeit nicht für Allergiker nicht geeignet.

Great Villa suitable for all ages to relax and explore the region
We had really positive communication and information about the rental property during the booking process. Excellent directions from the airport and greeted by the property manager. When we arrived the property was spotlessly clean and just as described. The property provides privacy and is in its own grounds planted with fruit trees and provides a space to relax, dine and barbecue at leisure. The is an excellent base to explore the region. The roads are quiet and stress free for driving around and the villa has great access to major roads. The Villa is only 20 minutes drive from Brindisi airport and a ten minute drive to some beautiful sandy beaches. We stayed with two teenage boys and had plenty of room to kick a ball about, play boules and splash in the pool without worrying about neighbours and other guests. As regular renters some of the really positives things about this villa rental included - plenty of bedding and towels, washing machine very clean and useable kitchen. We would definitely book this rental again and recommend to friends and family.
