Fairly standard ‘business travel’ style hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Hotel restaurant was closed for everything except breakfast, with no car this involved walking out of the hotel along the grass verge alongside a busy road and open sewer to nearest shops/restaurants.

Moderno y espacioso

Un hotel moderno, habitación amplia y cama cómoda. Para poner un pero, a la piscina le faltaria tener tumbonas, sólo dispone de sillas, cosa muy rara que no puedas tumbarte.

Hotel in poor condition

This hotel is quite disappointing. The towels are yellowing and frayed, the shower water was cold, the bedsheets had stains on them and the breakfast was limited and poor. On the plus side it was cheap and closer to Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary than staying in Sandakan itself.

This hotel is like the England performance at euro 2024, promised a lot, performed poorly and ultimately failed to deliver. The towels are yellowing and frayed, the shower water was cold, the bedsheets had stains on them and the breakfast was limited and poor. On the plus side it was cheap and closer to Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary than if we stayed in Sandakan itself.

The rooms and staff were very nice but the hotel has very limited food and drink options, and the area around it has nothing to offer - other than KFC and Pizza.
