Great visit on Sandusky Bay
Publié le 28 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe place was very clean and comfortable. And the neighborhood was quiet and great for walks. There is a flock of wild Turkeys that were really cool to see just roaming the entire area.
The entire family enjoyed the stay.

Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayover all our stay went well , there was an issue with the electrical that the owner responded to quickly and Im sure will be taken care of. the house was clean and appeared well cared for on the inside. the out side could use some clean up

The house was equipped with everything we needed and the location and neighborhood was very nice and within walking distance to the water.

Great fishing trip!
Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayHouse was very clean and well accommodated with amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. They even have enough room to park a boat and truck in the back and provided a fish cleaning table. We couldn’t be more happy with our stay!

Total Solar Eclipse Family Getaway in Sandusky Area
Publié le 16 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe host was extremely nice and helpful in preparing for our stay and throughout the stay when we had questions. They sent a list of suggested activities for my toddler, and even offered to buy us solar eclipse glasses for the main event of our visit! The house is in a residential area, but it’s within walking distance of two really yummy restaurants right on Lake Erie. The neighbors were friendly as well! The house was perfectly sized for our family of 6, and included balls and games to keep the kids busy. The fire pit was awesome too for our family to gather in the afternoons to talk story and have some drinks.
The property is 15 minutes from Sandusky attractions, and only 10 from the Safari - which was a great experience! My toddler is still talking about when we “fed the animals”.
The only not so fun thing I would mention are the fire alarms. They were so sensitive that we struggled to cook anything on the stove without setting them off. The host has said they will look into this though!
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we had a fantastic time for the total solar eclipse. Absolutely would recommend this VRBO property for anyone needing a place to stay with family in the Sandusky area!
