This charming two-bedroom, one-bath bungalow comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a small living room, as well as a deck with outdoor seating. It was perfect for our three-night, first time visit to the Virgin Islands, and I would highly recommend it for those who prefer a self-service getaway and don't expect a view of the water. The hosts seem to have thought of all the amenities, providing everything from coffee to snorkeling gear. It's hard to imagine staying here without a car, but beware of driving on the island, and even negotiating the steep driveway. The rooms abut another studio rental across the deck the hosts' home and above their workshop. Just down the road, perhaps a five-minute walk, is the Limetree Beach Resort, with beach access, a pricy small market for incidentals like wine, cheese, sunscreen, and breakfast sandwiches, and the Lanai, a good poolside bar and grill, all open to the public.
