The staff is wonderful! The location is great- right on the bike trail and a canal for kayaking.

We stayed for two nights in Tropical King one bdrm suite. Room was very clean, we loved having the kitchen with full size refrig. Enjoyed use of the free kayaks. Easy walk to nice quiet beach, used facility provided wagon. Chairs and umbrellas also available. Pool very nice, and quiet. Great biking area if you have or rent bikes.

Posted Jun. 23, 2022 on HotelsIt was comfortable and friendly. Laid back and relaxing. Loved the layout of the property. Didn’t like the beach path. It was too narrow to walk on. Staff was friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure meeting the manager Megan who was from West Palm Beach and volunteered for Sunfest with me in transportation area. It was great and had a great time in Sanibel Island. Definitely come back to Sunshine Island Inn. Perfect location.

Close proximity to beach - staff friendly and helpful - room and grounds clean
