The private lemon grove and gardens property comfortably accommodated the five members in my party. The lower level contains the kitchen, dining and living rooms, (couch turns into bed for two), plus bedroom for two and bathroom. The separate upper level unit and bath with adjacent terrace, has great views of the Bay of Naples, Mt. Vesuvius to the north and the surrounding mountains. The tower and chambers are well renovated. They include laundry, air conditioning and Wi-Fi which doesn’t reach the upstairs unit. Sant’Agnello was our jumping off point to visit Sorrento and Capri. As others have mentioned, it’s a bit of a challenge traveling by foot to and from town because of the traffic and narrow roads, yet doable. The climb is not too steep and it helps to walk down the less trafficked alleys, such as Via Occulto. Definitely wouldn’t recommend going with children, but location is great if you have a car or scooter. On another note, it’s important to be in close contact with the property manager who’ll likely meet you, (in our case it was Alessia), at a nearby location such as the Grand Hotel La Pace. If you’re going by foot it’s highly recommended taking a taxi to meet with the property manager who’ll be going by scooter to take you to the location. If you want to cook at home, there’s the Netto srl supermarket on Corso Italia 178. Near the property there’s good pizza at Bar l’Archetto Pizzeria, Via Maiano Vecchio 63. **It would be great if WiFi’s available upstairs.
