MOLD PROBLEM and NO AC in all rooms. They put us in 3 different rooms but they all have the same problem. We ended up leaving the hotel at midnight due to severe eye and skin allergy from the mold.

Typically Embassy Suites is higher end place. This one is worn out. the parking lot was occupied by gardeners trucks and roped off. The smell of the lobby and the room was musty and dank. All the funiture in the lobby and room was outdated and worn to threads, the room lighting was dark and old style lamps. The room phone was out of order. The shower curtain was torn and hanging by pieces. The front desk only 1 person was so over loaded, with phones ringing and a line at all times of day. She would answer the phone and say please hold over and over. The calls and line were guests who were having problems in rooms. They take a $200 deposit credit charge even for a long time Hilton Honors person. To top it off there is no air conditioning. Desk person said something about a water cooler shut down, but the room thermostate only has a Heat setting, no cooling setting, ie. no AC in Southern California.... very bad sweaty night, never going back.

Breakfast was good; however, coffee was not available after breakfast hours. The pool, fitness area and lobby were nice, and the in-room safe was useful. The black-out curtains were good; however, the room smelled very moldy and felt humid like a sauna. The phone did not work. Housekeeping left the room door ajar (it was open when we returned late in the evening after being out all day). Ice machine did not work on our floor. Elevators on one end of the lobby were not working. Had to get a “do not disturb” door hanger from the front desk (did not see any of these on other doors so assume they were not provided unless requested). One of the electrical outlets did not have a cover on it. Our van actually got hit overnight in the paid parking lot area and had a huge dent in the bumper. Not the best experience overall for the price and we travel quite a lot so feel comfortable with our evaluation. It is likely there are better choices.

This is a VERY TIRED property that has not been kept up. I have never stayed in this level Hilton brand in such poor condition. Would not stay there again unless there is a full remodel inside.

The room was in terrible condition. Tub spout has black stain on it which looked like mold. The tub was old and desolate including bathroon door rusted and worn out. Shower head tons of gray deposits( hard water) and the room balcony had Beer bottle with Cigarette buttes everywhere . Room curtain had large stains on it. Overal it was weird. We called the front desk and they gave us another room, it was musty smelling and bathroom was not great either had dust sticking out of the exhaust light whcih was almsot hitting our face when entering the bathroom as the the ceiling was very low. I called front desk and asked to change the room and finally got a room which was okay...similar type though. Lot of noise like hell. The breakfast was okay, they close quickly. Happy hour- very boring. Serioulsy, they shouldnt even have those. Overall very disappointed for $200 hotel . Not worth it. Stay away from it. The building looks old and desolate. The hot tub is broken , Pool old and gym looks like it is from another era. I am sorry to give such a horrible review, it felt like we were staying in an 2nd world war era hotel.

Home away from home

Checking in webt fast & smooth. When I got to my room, I immediately knew that the A/C wasn't working. Maintenence guy came & looked & said that the A/C was working. I had to literally take a chair,stand on it w/ a piece of paper to show the guy that no air was blowing out of it. Not to mention the temperature kept rising from 71 to 79. I paid for a balcony room (cost extra), switched room. Desk guy said I'm going to switch you to a better room that cost more but won't charge you the extra. He said that the room also had the exact same balcony style as my original room. Transferred my belongings & my service animal to the other room to only find out that its a handicap room. The door didn't open when you pushed the handle down & try & keep these other people's dog from attacking my dog. Finally got the door to open by pushing thr handle up. Yes, the room was bigger but the extra money I spent for the balcony isnt what I got in this room. So extremely disappointed. I was going to a concert & didnt have time to change rooms AGAIN, as it literally took me 28 minutes to get into this room. If they're charging people that's handicapped extra for a handicap room they should be ashamed of themselves & giving a room to NON HANDICAP person is unacceptable. But overall the breakfast was great, the room was clean & will continue to recommend Embassy Suites.

The property is dated and dirty.. ridden with mold and the carpets are saturated with an awful smell. Stefan did his best. But unfortunately this was the absolute WORST Experience I’ve ever had at the embassy suites.
