Cute room near East Beach
Publié le 24 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property was clean and the bed was comfy. We were able to walk to East Beach and Stearns Warf easily. About a mile. We found the property quiet and enjoyed sleeping in a bit and our morning coffee before setting out for the day. Would stay again.

Simple, clean, great location - but there are some cons

Cons: bed, small room, noise
The location is great - it really is only a couple blocks to the beach. The walk to the pier is about 1.5 miles, so a bit of a trek, but well worth it. On the downside, the room is in an old house, so it does suffer from that a bit. You have upstairs neighbors who you can hear walking around. There is no heater in the room, which was a bit unexpected. The bed was ok, but not very comfortable. The room is small, and there’s really nowhere to open up your suitcase and leave it out.

It was very helpful that the property description was so thorough and provided “what to expect” details since the rental is part of multiple rentals within an old home.

The bathroom door didn’t close, the tub faucet to shower didn’t work correctly and none of the appliances could reach an outlet without putting them on the floor. Some improvements should be made here.

Room Ok, Bathroom Gross
Publié le 10 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayRoom okay but we could hear people walking upstairs and this woke us up in the morning. The toilet ran constantly, the shower drain was broken so we couldn’t use it. We saw pubic hair in jets of bathtub. Vanity was outdated and cracked.
