Not the friendliest staff. Check in time is 3pm, we arrived at 3:30. Got our key and opened the door to find a dirty room; housekeeping had not been in to clean it yet. Went back hoping for another room only to find that that one wasn’t clean either. We were told to come back in an hour and a half. Kinda peeved, but I know stuff happens. We grabbed lunch and headed back after the requested amount of time to see housekeeping just entering our original room to clean it. After a 3 hour road trip, we just wanted a rest before heading out to an event. But with the room still dirty and daylight burning we had to head straight to the event tired and irritated. When we finally got back, the room was “cleaned” but tiny and just really not great; pretty dated. The bed was the best part of that stay, very comfy. We will never stay there again. You definitely do not get what you pay for here. If it was super cheap / budget, hey I get it, but it was kinda pricey and Not worth it at all.

Taking care of yourself but great motel6

Great motel, great location, cute retro decor. Due to staffing my room was never cleaned for a 3 day stay. I’m ok with that but I had to ask front desk every evening for towels due to housekeeping quitting. Had to empty my garbage daily as well. A bottle of wine was listed but never received.

We stayed at this property because it is the first Motel 6. While the room are on the smaller side, the decor was cute. It is unclear to us the difference between a standard room and deluxe room. The front staff was friendly. Cons: housekeeping was not offered unless we request it; there was no extra roll of toilet paper and we ran out; our room keys had to be reprogrammed every day of our stay, and we had very nosy neighbors who were drinking in front our room and who made a mess.

Check in took forever no one was there, then we got in the room and some of the surfaces were so dirty and sticky we had to wipe them down with wet washclothes. Then a large group of people started to party in the room above us and they went until 5 in the morning with stopping, just stomping and banging the whole night. It was rough.

Amazing Place !!

Great place to stay right by the ocean, staff are super friendly and helpful and the cleaning staff are on point too! Car parking was amazing right outside my room. Only downside no coffee in my room but was offered on reception which was no big deal!

Clean and convenient property located close to the beach. For a Motel 6 it was definitely high quality. Staff was able to allow me an early check in for a small fee of $25. It was very appreciative after a long drive.

This is THE original Motel 6. It’s been updated but still has a mid-century modern charm. Would stay here again!

Good. But could be better.

Above average decor for Motel 6. But the guy at check was just rude and super unfriendly. Rooms are small and have no microwave or coffee makers. You also have to use your room key to get a stingy amount of ice from the ice machine. The descriptions of mountain and ocean views is a bit of a stretch. Mountain view has telephone lines. Ocean view is a sliver due to residential buildings around the property. There are better, less deceptive places in the area.
