Thank you David for the feedback. The property owner cares deeply about all guest experiences and we immediately went to the home today and noticed the dimmer for the chandelier was in the down position. The switch plates are different with the brightness adjusted with a small bracket that goes up and down after the light is turned on. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and hope you will return and enjoy a brighter kitchen! Much appreciated, Haller Coastal Homes

Our guests and their feedback mean everything to us as well as their experience! Unfortunately, this guest was unhappy prior to their arrival and tried to cancel last minute. We are sad to see they have decided to take this frustration out in a review but have alerted vrbo. The photos of the home are accurate and amenities are listed. It's always hard for our team (family owned and operated) and the property owner (local owner), that work so hard to make guests satisfied at all of our properties, choose to say inaccurate things. Also for future guests to note, we are also the only company in town that uses the same linen service the high end hotels use in town. Everything is professionally cleaned and sanitized and the highest grade sheets, towels, etc they offer as well! This historic building is a treasured property and centrally located. Built in 1943 and well-maintained and upgraded over the years, it's character and amenities and free off street parking make it a great value!

Very Beach-y get away

While many items have been updated (furniture, decorations, flooring, bathrooms), it is clearly an older property with original windows (drafty) and kitchen/cabinets. Counter tops have been updated. It has a very beach-y feel, which is nice.
Be prepared for a multi-page, detailed lease from the property manager which seems a bit over the top, including specific ages of each and every guest: "Only guests listed on this agreement are permitted at the property" -- so any additional friends/children you have nearby are not covered.
Check out is 10 AM - way too early for a vacation property in my opinion, and a request well in advance of our arrival to adjust to noon checkout was not accepted.
Seems pricey now that we've actually been there.

Great get away

Thank you, Brent for your 5 star, great review of West Beach Villa 2! We are glad that you enjoyed the great location, comfortable rooms and beds and proximity to the beach. The home is equipped with a high efficiency A/C unit that guests have enjoyed so we are not sure if you saw it in the living room? The good part is A/C is rarely needed in our coastal town however, we provide this as well as all rooms have ceiling fans for those rare hotter days so everyone is comfortable! Hard to believe but about 80% of homes and even many hotels in SB do not have A/C! Thank you again for your positive review. We hope you will come back and visit. Funk Zone work remotely

Highly Recommended
Publié le 31 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayThree of us stayed in this condo. Instructions to get in were easy and the parking space was helpful since on the street parking fills up. Many condo conveniences and a beautiful location with walking distance to great restaurants. We're not used to no AC (from midwest) but there were plenty of fans and ways to keep the temperature nice and comfortable including a portable AC unit. They've thought of everything! We'll rent from this company again. Thank you!
