Great Location
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HotelsI was assured during booking that the card provided at registration would not be charged until check-in. My intention was to use a different card at that time to benefit from cashback rewards. However, the desk clerk informed me that the card I initially used was already charged at the time of reservation. When I reiterated that I was told payment would be made at check-in, the clerk simply repeated that the charge had been processed and that this was their standard procedure. This felt quite misleading to me.
The hotel was conveniently located near restaurants and shops. The room satisfied my basic requirements. However, the signs of the hotel's age were evident, and it would benefit from enhanced cleanliness. The bathroom needed a deep clean, especially the shower, which appeared dubious, leading me to use the sink for washing up. Additionally, the room included a kitchenette.

Dear guest,We are pleased to hear that the hotel met your basic requirements. I would like to apologize for any inconvenience and confusion regarding the credit card transaction. Our guests do have the option to change the form of Payment upon of arrival if you are paying directly to the hotel. Per our policy, the same day of your arrival we process a one night charge, if for any reason you choose to pay differently, we are able to refund the transaction and use your card of choice. I will check with our staff and my apologies on their behalf. We also appreciate your understanding regarding the age of the building, we do hope to start remodeling in the very near future. As for now our housekeeping department is prioritizing the cleaningness of the rooms. Thank you so much for your feedback and for choosing Granada Inn.
