We really enjoyed our stay at Diamant. Very comfortable room and great spa in a beautiful location with very helpful staff!

Low quality food. Very disappointed, never happened to eat so poorly in a resort in Val Gardena. Quality over quantity!

We booked a junior suite which listed to have 1 double bed and 2 single beds. The listing also showcased two rooms one with the double bed and another with the two single beds. Upon arrival the room was a single room with just a double bed and a sofa bed. We were told we were crazy for believing the room could have hosted the double the singles and we should have expected the sofa bed. The room and facilities were quite out-dated, the "shower" was a bath-tub with a shower head, and no curtain or glass divider to contain the water. The quality of the buffet was also very sub-par, with breakfast being served with the desserts left-over from dinner, and the variety and quality of food being very basic. At dinner if desserts were finished before 8:30, they wouldn't be replenished. The spa situation was also underwhelming, with the hot-tub being drained, the internal pools kept at a very low temperature and the inside/outside pool being poorly heated and covered to "save energy". We have stayed at multiple hotels in this areas in the last few years, and this hotel doesn't deserve the 4stars it claims. Especially for the $585/night we spent to stay in these facilities.

good evening I'm not suprised to get your feedback. you got the Junior suite booked, with one double bed, which can be transformed in two twin beds. and there is also a double sleeping sofa wich you did not want to use. in our area there exist no hotels with two double beds in one room, one is always a sleeping sofa. we have rooms with shower and rooms with tub if you don't specify that you want a shower, we can not know it!! You forgot that you were expecting to have 2 bedrooms in a 30 sqm room... aaaa yes you said that you are not an architect, but honestly 30 sqm are the same all over the world and you don't need to be an architect to figure that out. the indoor pool has 31 degrees and the outdoor 33 degrees. all the Jacuzzis 34 degrees. concerning the food I'm really surprised as you always told the waiters that everything was fine.... We wish you all the best on your more than 200 nights in hotels all over the world (as you told us :) )

This is an outstanding family run resort that has been in the family for over fifty years. The spa is exquisite and affordable. The breakfast buffet hosted by the owner is excellent. This is centrally located near Santa Cristina with a breathtaking view of Cristallo from the hotel (I recommend a mountain view room -- which happily is also affordable). This was my third time to St Ulrich/Santa Cristina and I will definitely stay here again.

Nice family-owned hotel with great service, excellent indoor and outdoor pool and SPA; close to Ortisei with many quality restaurants and in 5 min drive to ski chair lifts in Santa Cristina Valgardena / Monte Pana and 10 min drive to Selva DI Val Gardena Wolkenstein, part of Sellaronda ski tour.

Food was just amazing, half bord was worth every penny. Location is descent (not in the village) and overall hotel is comfortable, suites are good size as we stayed in 227. It is good value for the money comparing to other hotels in the area.

Friendly spa hotel with good cuisine

We stayed in Diamant in the 2nd half of March, end of ski season and enjoyed our stay . Best features for me were: friendly stuff, excellent cuisine (we had half board), great wine list , one of the best spa and pool areas in Italian alps, nice views from the balcony in the room, good entertainment for kids (playing room, pingpong, billiards, football machine), relative proximity to Val Gardena and Cella Ronda skiing areas (3-4 minutes by car or shuttle to the lifts). Hotel is located between Santa Cristina and Ortesei , both are 15 minutes walk away, so I recommend to take half board .
