Worst decision ever
Publié le 29 juin 2024 sur HotelsWe had an issue the office clerk dint put our payment details And we were eating and at the beach with my family the hotel called saying that they cleaned the room and toke our things out along with our cat stuff was supposed to be pet friendly I had to come back all the way wet and left all my food pay double for parking plus the hotel charge me again multiple times for my cat. Because they weren’t supposed to stay. So why’s says pet friendly if they have those kind of concerns about pets. Am an animal veterinarian and the reason why I brought my cat is because she is family and I love to bring her with me. It just doesn’t make sense. My cat is a cat is not a dog don’t take walks like dogs. I spend $650. Dollars on this hotel for nothing waste of money honestly horrible next month I will make a different reservation different hotel. Isn’t even worth it.

We booked a room during the crazy busy graduation weekend. I first called to say we would arrive late, the person who answered hung up on me, maybe they couldn't hear me clearly.
We arrived late, the parking lot was full. I walked to the office and it was closed. I tried ringing the bell, I phoned and watched through the glass as the phone on the desk lit up. No one was there. It was 11:30. We tried to find a room else where, and ended up trying to call again. This time a young man answered and we drove back, found a place to park because someone pulled out.
Obviously we did not need that stress. We were so tired and relieved when we made it to our room, which felt like such a relief I could have cried.
Room was fine.
Again, did not need that stress of no room at 11:30 at night, the office staff need to carry a phone on them.

Quick check in, room is clean & quiet. Walkable to downtown Santa Cruz within a mile.
