I am writing to respond to your review. This experience is the only time we have had to post this lengthy exchange however we feel it’s our responsibility to bring proper light to the actual occurrences. We have been hosting for over 7 years and our guests have consistently found our homes and gardens to be peaceful and restorative. Many of our guest are long term return clients. When you told us that you wanted to leave early we were completely accommodating well beyond the boundaries of our standard policies. When you updated us of your intentions we immediately made the changes to your booking as VRBO makes those changes and credits. The only dates our guest will be charged are the dates they occupy the guest home. You chose to stay an additional 10 days after making the request to leave early. Your claim of not receiving a refund is completely false and verifiable. The only funds withheld are part of the VRBO policy of a security deposit that will be refunded if no damage or issues have occurred. My husband and staff entered the home after you vacated and found the home in complete disarray. There were pots and pans and dishes left w food scraps filling our sinks, the dishwasher floor and side walls were covered w food debris and coffee grinds, bedding and sheets pulled off the bed were left outside on the table in the rain and in the mud. Kitchen cabinets were emptied out (?) leaving sponges, soap, trash cans on the floor, glasses and cups were either broken and discarded or missing. Paper bags were covering outdoor pathway lighting, which are meant for our guest safety. Your representation of us as host and our guest home are completely false. We are very respectful of all cultures and lifestyles and disturbed by your racist comments.
