Santa Fe Holiday Inn Express was a comfortable, affordable experience. Beds were something a person can melt into. The room and hotel, in general, were clean.
Our room had a funky dirty.sock smell, except the bathroom which smelled like cleaner…not at all unpleasant.
We were in a handicap-equipped room. The shower head pressure was uncomfortably strong until I adjusted the spray. A delicious breakfast buffet was offered. Nothing out of the ordinary, but sustaining and enough choice to find something good.

Oops! They did it AGAIN!!
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HotelsI travel quite a bit by car between Denver and Scottsdale, so I often choose Santa Fe to layover. I booked this hotel last minute & when I pulled into the parking lot, I realized I had stayed here before. HIE is usually a safe bet so didn’t think much of it. The hotel was fine, desk & check in fine, breakfast…meh. After I ate, I went back to my room for a quick shower & checkout. I put the “Resting” or “Do not disturb” sign on the door & showered & sat on the bed nude to dress. All of a sudden, without a knock or announcement, the maid came charging in after using her passkey and wash shocked to see me! I yelled, “READ THE F’ING SIGN!!” I then realized that the same type of thing happened LAST time I stayed here. And yep, I checked, there was my review that I posted on Feb. 2nd (?) 6 months ago with the title, “They need to TRAIN THEIR HOUSEKEEPING STAFF BETTER. Unbelievable. Yes, I should have used the top lock, that was my mistake but I was in a hurry & never dreamed that someone would just charge-in without a knock or announcement. I made the desk clerk read my prior review. You can be assured that I will find someone in charge, regionally, to show this terribly managed hotel.
