The check-in was fast and friendly.
Place is clean and well maintained.
Room was comfortable and hotel is well situated.
The sound proofing is the issue.
We were on the first floor and when the guest above us arrived, yikes, let the noise begin.
We heard every step, we could hear them talk.
And when they showered, OMG, the noise from the running water....loud.
Thank god they slept fairly early and didn't get up before we got up and were gone.
My advice, the price is very good, get a room on the upper floor and pray you don't get a party around you.

Was hopeful about staying at the Sage but the room was very small, AC extremely noisy, and the bathroom looked like it was from a 1950s roadside motel. Time to upgrade bathrooms, too! Half the parking lot was blocked during the day so patrons coming to the loud "Social" bar could have convenient parking. Breakfast was barely edible.

Great Place to Stay - A Bit Out of Town
Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HotelsThe Sage Hotel is one of those roadside hotels that was popular in the past that are making a comeback. The hotel was in great shape and very affordable for the area. We felt comfortable with the area and was able to walk to dinner down the stair, feeling totally safe. One thing, they do activities in the lobby, separate building across the parking lot and the night we were there the DJ was very loud. I would recommend a room away from the lobby area if possible.
