Let me start off by saying that the communication with the property manager was great and the home accommodated my family and I. However, the cameras on the property (specifically, in the living room) made me very uncomfortable. I constantly felt as if we were being watched or if I had something to worry about. I understand that homes In Puerto Rico are a bit run down in comparison to homes in the continental US. However, there were always critters in the house and eating or cooking in the house was unsatisfactory. Although the owner provides amazing water equipment such as kayaks, boards, life vests, etc., the beach behind the home is not as visually appetizing as depicted on its website. The surrounding shore line and waters are very dirty and made it less ideal to take the family out on the water. Additionally, many of the lights bulbs in the home were burnt out and constantly had to navigate or shower in the dark; nor was the hot water working. Lastly, the vacation home team constantly reminds its customers to turn off the A/C and fans to save the owner from high local electricity expenses. I always made sure to do so. However, coming back to a hot home while on vacation and traveling throughout the island is less than ideal, and I feel like it is not my responsibility to ensure the owner saves on electricity costs. Overall, the home is perfect for accommodating large groups, but the ad is a bit misleading.
