Excellent stay, great location and great for families
Publié le 14 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayClean property, excellent communication with property manager. The location is greaf with restaurants, coffee shops and grocery store with walking distance. It's also really easy to get taxi to take you within minutes to all the hotspots. Pool is great, we were travelling with our 2y old and the shallow pool was just perfect.

Family stay at Mixie
Publié le 31 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay here. Perfect location to for groceries, restaurants and adventuring. The residents are so friendly. The building manager is the kindest. The condo itself is a perfect home base, comfortable and clean. We would definitely book it again.

Potential, but would not stay here again
Publié le 15 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe apartment is new but sparsely furnished with very uncomfortable furnishings. The living room couch and the king bed in particular. The king bed creaked so much every time we turned over, we ended up sleeping in the double. Shower went back and forth from scalding to freezing, nothing in between. Pool area was small but clean and had more comfortable furnishings than the apartment. Unfortunately, construction directly beside the property on two sides, meant constant construction noise and fumes throughout the complex and especially in the pool area. The construction projects are large and will be ongoing for a very long time. The location was easy walking distance to supermarket and Chahue beach. However, there are 4 very large guard dogs on an unfenced property beside one of the construction sites. Not a problem during the day, but they are not tied up and they will charge you if you walk past the property at night. We found this out the hard way. A warning about this from the property managers would have been nice. We were told by other owners that the dogs have been a problem for years and there use to be more of them.

Hi Blanche, thank you so much for taking the time to write your review. We're truly sorry that the construction impacted you as much as it did. Although outside construction is unfortunately outside of our control, we wanted to make sure you were not arriving to any surprises. For this reason, we offered you the option before formalizing your stay to either proceed at a discounted rate or explore other property options. They were pushing to complete the project before the new year, which resulted in a lot of excess noise over your dates. The main construction next door is now complete.
Regarding your feedback about the furnishings and challenges with the water, we appreciate your comments and have passed them along to the owner. Though this is not consistent feedback we have received about the condo, we regret that you did not feel comfortable sharing them during your stay so we could offer you an immediate solution. Finally, regarding the dogs, thank you so much for letting us know about your encounter with them. We have have notified the Mixie Development so that they can continue to monitor this situation. We encourage you to contact us directly to discuss additional details and again regret not being able to assist more while you were in Huatulco.

Mixing condo
