Ocean Air Upper West Private Beach Unit on 30A (BEACHFRONT)

Summary:
Ocean Air is a beachfront duplex divided into 4 units. Each unit has a panoramic view of the beach with a private beachfront deck.  Each unit has a full kitchen, living room, dining room and has two king bedrooms and two full bathrooms all of which are completely private.  The units have a Lovesac sectional that functions as a sleeper and a large Lovesac beanbag that can easily sleep one. All the units are connected through an interior stairway, making multiple unit rentals perfect for family reunions and weddings. Located directly on the beach and south of Hwy 30A, these newly renovated units include features like upscale stainless steel appliances and granite surfaces, new bathrooms, full smart home integrations including, swivel from ceiling jumbo TV mounts, and smart audio devices! Each unit features reverse-osmosis water purification systems to refill your bottles and save our beach from un-needed plastic.  The living room is decorated with furniture including a jumbo Lovesac beanbag chair placed in front of the picture windows.

The most prominent feature of this location is the private beach.  Ocean Air 30A boasts of 70’ of private beach, giving each beach chair set a direct ocean view without outside interference. Each unit is guaranteed one set of chairs and an umbrella with the Ocean Air-logo.  Additional chair sets are available for an additional fee.

Off the main living area of each unit is a private beachfront covered deck. The Trex cocktail tables and chairs are perfect for having lunch overlooking the sand or for evening cocktails. Each deck connects to the private beach walkover. The walkover includes two large reading nooks overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.  Evening sunsets are spectacular from this perch, as are the morning sunrises.  Many beautiful beach photographs have been taken from there. Weekly rentals include use of our paddle boards and kayaks, and brand new beach bicycles (first come first served). Gas grills are also provided in the front of the house.

Dogs and Cats are accepted with an additional $200 cleaning fee and must be disclosed prior to arrival.

Other Things to Note:
Weekly rentals at our property include complimentary access to paddle boards, kayaks, and beach bicycles, all available on a first-come, first-served basis. For those who enjoy grilling, gas grills are conveniently provided in the front of the house. Our extra-large parking area ensures that each of our renters has a minimum of two parking spaces, offering convenience and ease during your stay.

There are lots of pluses to this beach rental, including proximity to the beach, having beach chairs included, and beautiful views. The rental was nothing fancy but clean and well taken care of.

While the view was everything the unit itself left a lot to be desired in way of handy work. While we understand the owner is doing the work — there were many things just not done and maybe the unit should have been pulled from renting or a discount offered. The window was broken. Wires on the outside lights were showing, the floor to the laundry room wasn’t finished where the door connects to the hallway, the outside door to the deck the house wrap was showing and a knob from the kitchen cabinets was missing (though we found it and put it back on). And the love sac while nice… felt a little out of place plus it was huge and hard to move. Even a little. But again the view was amazing and the deck was perfect for a windy day at the beach. We loved the beach chairs and access to the bikes and all the neighbors were so very nice. The property manager was especially helpful and nice.

Wonderful gulf-front views from the back porch, which I’d call semi-private since you can hear and partially see the guests on the adjacent porch. The community is great and the location off 30A is ideal. Beach chair/umbrella setups, bikes, paddle boards, and one person kayak are included free, which is a huge savings. Inside, the units are clean and nice. It is pet friendly yet you wouldn’t know it the way it was cleaned. Our unit was lacking porch lights and ceiling fan but I understand that is forthcoming. Lori, the caretaker was readily available and very helpful. Bit of warning to those with mobility issues. Access to the units requires climbing narrow staircases, and makes check in and check out days a challenge but it’s worth it. Overall a great rental. I expect to be back.

The condo is gorgeous and the location can’t be beat! We rode bikes to Seaside and spent time on the beach everyday. We had a wonderful stay here. The property is beautiful, clean and comfortable, with an amazing view and beach access. The owners were extremely thoughtful and welcoming, and we appreciated having the opportunity to meet them on our arrival. Little details make a big difference, and I loved the fact that the everything in this unit was so comfortable - the furniture, mattresses and even the linens and pillows. Location location location
If you’re looking for a lovely home directly on the white sand beaches of 30A, then look no further. It has private steps that lead to a beautiful beach with chairs and umbrellas waiting for you. Super easy and did I mention private ? The beach location is also primo. Far in the distance to the right you can see the high rise hotels of Pensacola and to the far left is Panama City beaches. The condo has paddle boards and kayaks and all kinds of floatation devices available for your use plus cool bicycles for everyone. It’s a short drive to Seaside or back to Destin if you absolutely must. We stayed in a 5 mile radius except when we went out fishing one day with a local boat captain! If you’re sick of waiting for elevators and jockeying for position at dawn to get a spot on the beach with an actual view of the ocean then this is the place to try next. I’m done with high rise condos. My family is already planning to come to this little slice of heaven again and again. The owners are great too! We left our instapot and they mailed it back to us. Talk about customer service! The owners are updating the decks outside and adding siding so some construction was going on while we were there. But only for a couple days and they were quick to ask us if they were bothering us and offered to take a break if we wanted to nap. Overall an excellent location with nice accommodations and I have and will continue to recommend it to family and friends since returning home to Arkansas.

Perfect place to stay right on the beach in 30A.
We had such a great time. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The unit was clean and inviting. The balcony overlooking the beach was perfect. We spent many hours sitting outside enjoying the crashing waves. The beds were comfortable and both rooms had their own private balcony. My son slept on the lovesac bean bag chair and loved it. It was very comfortable. We appreciate that the unit was dog friendly so we didn't have to leave our pets behind. We also really enjoyed using the bicycles and riding to the coffee/ice cream shop. There were such nice touches as well that meant so much, such as a real flower in a small vase on the mirror in the guest bathroom and the dog treats for our pets. Having the beach chairs and umbrellas included was an added benefit as well. The owners also allowed us to use their paddle boards, kayaks, and floats in the ocean. It was so nice having those available to us. We truly enjoyed everything about our stay.

Perfect location!
Ocean Air was amazing! We stayed in Upper West. The building has 5 separate units but it feels very private, each with its own view of the ocean and access directly to the beach. It was clean and comfortable. Me, my wife, our daughter and her best friend, and our dog all had plenty is space to spread out and enjoy ourselves. A beach service sets up chairs on the private beach each morning and they are labeled Ocean Air on the backs of the seats. The owners also have kayaks and paddle boards next to the steps to the beach to use. The bikes provided were also great. We biked 9.5miles one day down to seagrove and ate at the Market Cafe, Surfing Deer, and visited shops. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Beach was private but not desolate, water was beautiful and warm and the house was clean and comfortable. It was under construction while we were there but the owner assured us it would not interfere and he wasn’t wrong, I don’t think there was any work going on any of the days we were there, and if there was we didn’t notice. There is a house being built next door but that didn’t bother us. The units are quiet when the doors are closed. We will return. Great stay and amazing vacation.

Perfect Spring Break!
We could not have had a more perfect Spring Break at Chivas Bluff! Location was perfect, home was perfect and getting to bring our two dogs just made our stay so easy. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful! Our kids loves having access to the bikes every day and you couldn’t ask for a better view to wake up to every morning! Location is perfectly situated to take advantage of the Hub and Seaside without the chaos of staying directly there! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Beautiful Stay
I recently visited for 2 weeks. One week solo, one week with family. I'm not going to lie, the stairs are brutal taking the pup out first thing in the morning before coffee or unloading luggage for 2 weeks. But the owners live in a downstairs apartment and Rich carried my bag up for me. They said an elevator is in the works, but until then it's not easily accessible for someone with mobility issues. Rich and Nancy were great and even shared their dinner with me the night of my arrival. They were accessible the entire time but not intrusive. The view is by far the best thing about this place. Absolutely gorgeous! Ocean sounds around the clock, dolphin sightings in the early morning, and majestic sunsets made for a beautiful trip. The inside is comfortable, beds are really comfortable, 2 bathrooms and washer and dryer were nice. You can tell they are still upgrading areas of the place like side decks and inner stairwells, but it doesn't feel like you're in a rennovation. There is a new house being built next door but the noise wasn't obnoxious, I barely noticed it. They have bikes, kayaks, and chairs available for use. And the beach is way less crowded than public beaches. Zac was very communicative throughout the planning up to check out. Great place and people, I'll definately be back!

Long weekend in paradise
I love this condo and have stayed in this house before. The location is the best in SeaGrove and the view is to die for! The amenities are much more than listed on VRBO. Extra beach towels, 2 rental chairs and umbrella set up daily (even if you don't stay the whole week). From the condo to the beach is about 50 feet. The beach is private and not busy with people all over you - very nice and peaceful! The only thing that was tough was the steps up to the condo on the top floor, but it was worth it! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at your little piece of heaven!

We booked another property and once we got there it wasn’t what was expected so we had to hurry and find another place . This property came up and they were able to graciously book us that night ! They met us at the car to show us to our condo . A little construction going on with the outside but let me tell you we never heard anything at all ! Once we walked into the condo we were taken back at how updated and modern it was ! The view was spectacular ! Beach front property and easy access to the beach . This was by far one of the best stays we have been at . The staff was amazing and accommodating . We had everything we needed there . We loved it so much we will definitely be back for another stay in oct/nov ! I highly recommend this property ❤️

Great experience and right on the beach. The hosts were very attentive and even contacted us prior to our stay about a neighboring construction project that had just begun and offered a full refund. We decided it would be okay and there was no issue with noice etc from that project during our week. The property itself is undergoing some improvement work but this was entirely non intrusive during our stay. Having bikes, kayak and paddleboards available to use is a really nice bonus. Thanks again for a great stay.
