Family Weekend

Wine Country trip with Friends and Family
Publié le 27 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely stay at your property. It was perfect for our group which had ages 31-70. We all had a little privacy and enjoyed the outdoor areas tremendously. Kitchens were well appointed and it was great to have several ovens! It was a short hop to the several wineries we did tastings at and to grocery stores and shops. Highly recommend for groups.

Post wedding family trip
Publié le 26 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful property literally just outside of Town. So very close to any amenities needed but very secluded feeling. We visited right after our wedding with our family and close friends. The 3 houses worked perfectly giving us all our space but we had the main house to gather together for meals and all be together. We would recommend this property for any one needing a little get away! Great host that got back to you right away with any questions.

Amazing place, great for groups
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay at the WC lodging. For a large group like ours with multiple families, the split accommodations were perfect and ideal. The house was well equipped with all the necessary cutlery and kitchen items and there were plenty of towels to go around. The hot tub was great too and the setting overall is very serene! Only thing was that the water was a bit smelly and noticed in the toilets that it came out light yellow. Not a huge deal breaker For us since we had our own water to drink but just fyi.

Nice clean property

Family Get-together
Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe wanted a quiet place near where we grew up for a family gathering for siblings and their partners and children from around the country. The Bennett Valley Eden was perfect: it allowed us to cook and eat together, plus lots of inside and outside places to gather for conversations. We really how appreciated the "Post Office" and Studio houses provided quiet places for late risers and infant naps.

Great Place For A Group!
Publié le 30 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family stayed at this Bennett Valley property the end of June 2024 and we really enjoyed our stay! This place is nicely setup for a larger group with three houses; a large main house, a two bedroom detached cottage and a detached studio. Everything was clean and well stocked for our stay. Located a few miles outside of Santa Rosa; the best of both worlds with restaurants, wineries, and stores close by but rural and relatively private in the hills. We found the property owner/manager quite responsive when we had a small problem with the key pad on one of the doors. A good time was had by all!

Great location with poor host experience

From the shower in the guest house not working, to multiple toilets backing up, to the AWFUL sulfur smell in the water, and probably the most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever sat on, we hoped for more. We had extended family with us and we chose to stand up when hanging out inside at times due to the couch being almost impossible to sit on comfortably. Prior to the trip we read other reviews and asked about the sulfur smell. The host assured us it was remediated. That was not the case to the extent my wife used bottled water to brush her teeth.
However the worst part of the trip was communicating with the host. Their attitude was curt and condescending. As a Superhost with the other company myself, I was shocked by their attitude and answers to basic questions.
We have future plans to visit the area and can assure you that we will avoid any property hosted by this host management firm.

First and foremost, we regret that we did not receive any communication from you during your stay, which unfortunately left us unable to address and remedy any issues in real-time.
Our house is frequently rented without any reported issues from other guests. The sulfur smell you mentioned (and "read about in the reviews") was actually an issue in the third unit, which was resolved with the installation of an on-demand water heater. You mentioned the smell as having been in the second unit, which has always been equipped with an on-demand water heater and has never had a reported problem. This discrepancy suggests that the sulfur smell was something you only learned about from reading reviews. To ensure nothing has changed, we inspected the plumbing and assessed the water smell after your check-out, and everything is still in good condition.
Additionally, your reservation was for two adults, but it appears there were significantly more guests during your stay. This exceeded our house rules, which are in place to ensure a comfort and safety for all guests. Failing to communicate this change shows a lack of integrity and respect for our property policies.
We aim to provide a high standard of service and are sorry that this was not your experience. We appreciate your comments and wish you well moving forward.

Family togetherness with space for solitude

Wonderful location close to SR but with a rural feel, dark night skies for star gazing. Plenty of outdoor gathering areas for lounging in the beautiful countryside.
