Madie is nice and has a pleasing personality. To be honest, this accommodation is very inconvenient for travelers. The bathroom and rest room are all downstairs and they are assigned to you. They put your name at the door. They’re not really clean bathrooms. They’re small. There’s no hot shower. Can’t even put toiletries anywhere. There’s no ventilation and it feels suffocating when you’re inside. It’s so inconvenient having to go a flight of stairs in the middle of the night just to pee and poop. This is the first time I’ve stayed in a hotel/accommodation like this and I’ve travelled all over the world. The room is so basic, there’s nothing except just 2 beds, ac, and nothing else. No refrigerator, no microwave and it feels cramped when you have luggages with you. If you want convenience , don’t stay here.

Dear Anonymous, thank you for your review, however based on your statement above; I would like to clarify that Madie's Place is a B&B (or Guest House) and not a Hotel, yes our bathrooms are not attached to the rooms but located on the ground floor where each room has an assigned dedicated bathroom. For this reason, we make sure that our rate remains cheap if not the cheapest accommodation provider in the area. The problem is you choose us from a selection of providers because you wanted to pay cheap and expect a pricey hotel like treatment in exchange. Further, our rooms have flat screen TVs and we have hot water shower in our bathrooms, saying that we do not have is a blatant lie. Lastly you advice travellers not to stay with us, yet you stayed with us for 2 days, checked-out then came back to stay for another 2 days! Anyway, thank you again for your review and we will strive to improve our services.
