Неплохо

Очень приветливый хозяин, напек блинов и всех угощал. Хостел находится в частном доме на горе. Слава богу, у меня не было багажа... Бачок в туалете не смывал.

Good - Haris is super helpful and friendly. The design of the hostel is good, and the common area is very nice. Not so good - shower water didn't seem to be hot enough, and location is a bit inconvenient as it is located on a hill. walking up back to hostel is not too easy to some people perhaps.

Amazing owner, super helpful

Authentic hostel in the local style with great views from parts of the hostel. It is up a hill but is a pleasant walk and goes past a museum of the first president. There is also a war victim cemetery which you can enter free. There is also a memorial and the late President is buried there. The owner, Haris, goes out of his way to be kind and helpful. On my first day, he dropped off a guest and myself in his car, free of charge into the city centre centre. He was always available when I called him , I arrived early, and he still welcomed me. He told me what to visit and the different tour guides available. He also arranged my shuttle into another city which was a lifesaver. Thank you very much Haris, Tom, from London

Up a hill from Stari grad, but affordable

The location is close to the old town, but uphill which is tiring with a large bag, but doable. If you contact the owner Haris, he is happy to offer to pick you up. I stayed in low season, so there were only 2 other people staying there, so we each had our own bunk rooms! Walking tours available with Haris. The hostel is still in the process of getting ready for high season, so the shower for example (only 1 available) was getting repaired, hut was still useable. I would say it's aimed at the budget conscious college students, but it did have stove top, kettle and fridge which was all I needed (and instructions on how to make an authentic Turkish coffee!). Terrace will be lovely in the summer.
