So glad you enjoyed the convenience of our location Linda. The rail trail just steps away from our place is so wonderful now as it provides access to wilderness within minutes.

Great room, great hosts

Publié le 11 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayAlthough only a room and a bath, the apartment/ efficiency was clean and provided all I needed. I was impressed with how Mary organized all the necessities in a small place. Mary's communication is top-notch. I will rent again.

Hideaway in Saranac

Renters should be aware that it's a bedroom in a building that serves as a permanent residence for others, although it's completely independent thereof, with its own entrance. It's like a B&B-type of arrangement. We thoroughly enjoyed it and it was an excellent location for walking to restaurants. Very nice place.

Thanks Ed. Yes, our Hideaway (an efficiency) and our Village Nook (a full apartment) are within our home with private entrances making it easeful to come and go. Now the new Adk Rail Trail can be accessed from behind our house - it makes for a lovely stroll downtown and a great ride 10 miles to Lake Placid - soon there will be 10 more miles competed and next year the full 34 miles. Come back and enjoy it!

Saranac Hideaway
