Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at Buckeye house in Sarasota Fl. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The pool was nice and had toys and safety devices for our little ones.

We were told there was 4 room but once we arrived we found out that the fourth room was a hall attached to the front door with no ac, there was just a sliding door to cut off the “room” from everything else. If that room was put to use the front door wouldn’t have been able to be used. The kitchen has no hood so cooking was a struggle because the house would smell like food and be foggy. The pool was very dirty due to the house owner not keep the water filter on all the time. The area around the pool was extremely dirty as well. Weeds growing around and mold, animal poop on outdoor furniture. The bathrooms don’t have fans so once done showering it would be extremely foggy. One of the bathrooms with a tub was clogged. Bedsheets smelled and mold behind the toilet. Overall a very dirty house.

Not what the pictures showed

One room they’re calling a bedroom does not have air or heat. The sofa sleeper was horrible. The pool area was not nice like in the pictures. all furniture was either dirty or broken. The washing machine was so loud we could not hear each other talk. The house is Close to airport so you have a lot of airplanes flying low coming in.
We were down for a wedding and just overall was not what we were expecting. Very disappointed

George- I am so sorry that you were disappointed in your stay. That is VERY unusual for my property. The pictures posted are EXACTLY what the house looks like. I have pictures of every room and even a floor plan. I apologize that the renters that checked out the day before you broke one of the pool lounge chairs and it could not be replaced in 12 hours. However, within one week now ALL the pool lounge chairs have been replaced. I always fix things right away when I know about them and my other reviews show that. The sleeper sofa is less than one year old and has an upgraded mattress.. I understand that it might not be as cozy as the other beds that all have cooling gel foam mattresses but it is a sleeper sofa so... The pictures and description do show that the bonus/4th room is at the entrance and not a typical bedroom but it DOES have heat and air. I am very sorry that you were disappointed in your stay. That is not the typical experience at my property.

Nice Vacation

Buckeye Beachhouse
Publié le 2 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe buckeye beach house was perfect for our family vacation! It was so well equipped with everything we needed from cooking utensils to the folding wagon and beach chairs and toys. The pool was wonderful as well. The beds were comfortable! ❤️

Perfect stay
Publié le 30 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayWonderful family vacation. Host was very easy to communicate with and house was exactly as listed. Peaceful and relaxing. Great location too!
Would definitely recommend and will stay here again when we come back to Sarasota.
