Publié le 18 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe host of this property is amazing. I had to reschedule this booking last minute. It was past the cancellation date. She allowed me to move it to a later date. I texted with her several times over the next few months. She always responded. The rental was exactly as it was presented. Cute little apartment very well stocked and clean. Super close to everything we wanted to do. We went to St Armand's circle and Lido beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Publié le 10 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayI have to say firstly this booking was on the back end of Hurricane Helene but there was no flooding in the area. We left St Petersburg Florida to make our way to this property. We were stuck at the Gandy bridge due to debris on the bridge after the Hurricane. So at 10am we message to ensure that everything was ok to which we received a message from the host to tell us that the ground floor property had water damage but the apartment above was available if we were happy to which we agreed was fine. After a long wait and journey down to the property we arrived at 4pm and made our way up to the first floor apartment. Firstly no attempt had been made to clear the garden area which we can let go after the storm. On entry to the apartment the first thing we noticed is that the sink was full of dirty pots and pans and no cleaning had been done and there was just a mattress with no bedding on the bed. The host was not there so I nessaged to say we were here to which she replied And said she was on here way. She said that she would need more time. We have her the benefit of doubt and with been on the road all day we said we would go for dinner and come back afterwards. We returned 3 hours later at 7pm to find that bed had still not been made. Again no host so I realised she was in the apartment below. I knocked on the door and she came to the door and said the bedding was in the washing machine. I said we were leaving and we would be expecting a full refund. Do not book.

Mr. Parsonage and his wife did not stay here so they have nothing to review. We were struck directly by an enormous hurricane. I was without electricity for days, working 18 hour days on my property or a neighbor's. I had told him my place was still not up to par so if he was amenable I'd help him find other accommodations and even pay for the first night out of my own pocket. Understandably they were in a poor mood because our town was only partially operational. It's too bad when people can realize that we just went through a catastrophic weather even. I might need a little extra time. Oh well, I have wonderful guests year after year that's what I focus on. Not this kind of review.

Great for a private little weekend getaway

Secluded accomodation
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe only stayed for a short time, we met the owner on arrival, who was very sweet and helpful. We were the only one’s there so we had the whole place to ourselves.
It’s really close to a big park, with tennis facility and walkable to the marina and a downtown area.

Great 4th of July weekend
Publié le 6 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe place was very nice. We enjoyed our stay. Nice and close to everything. We had one little hiccup but it was addressed quickly. Great communication from the host. My dog doesn't get to be off leash outside much with where we live and she loved being able to be free in the yard. There is also a nice dog park near by. Wish we could have stayed longer, would stay again.

Cottage cuteness
Publié le 28 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband , myself and our dog spent a few days on the gulf side of Florida. Since this was pet friendly with an enclosed yard it already was fabulous.
When we pulled up and off loaded we were immediately enveloped in coziness. The description of drop your keys and go was right on. We walked to a great Italian restaurant across the street. We didn’t have to drive too far for any of the daily trips we did.

My husband and I needed a getaway and we are so happy we chose to stay here. Best sleep I have had in a long time! Our host Christie was not only friendly but so accommodating. Definitely would stay here again!!!
