Great home
Publié le 29 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was the perfect place for us to stay. My mom lives in the neighborhood and it made it easy for us to visit with her and our other family members. The home is very neat and clean with everything you need to be comfortable! I highly recommend staying here. I hope to continue booking there when I’m in town.

This person had the nerve to leave a bad review after hosting a huge house party in my home when the listing clearly says no parties, lying about the event, hosting minors who were drinking, disturbing the peace in the neighborhood and eventually having to be forcefully removed from the home by police. They then submitted a review that did not meet the acceptable codes put in place by VRBO and it was refused by them, but they still had to come back to leave one star. Just wanted anyone reading the reviews to understand that this one is complete nonsense. Any questions feel free to ask.

Short stay - close to SPAC
Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HomeAwayOriginally booked for eight people but four of them backed out and then there were four. The house was more than enough room for the four of us. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes away from SPAC. The house is older, having been built in 1971. There have been some updates to the home like the kitchen and interior doors but some things, like the upstairs bathroom are dated and show its age. The house was clean but there were some areas that could have been cleaner. For example, we found some type of potato chip and other debris at the foot of the couch, the freezer drawer had some debris at the bottom, the microwave had finger prints all over the front, and I even found a box of check books in one of the dresser drawers. The bath towels were lovely, very soft and fluffy. The shower had dispensable shampoo and body wash which was a plus. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. The springs jabbed me in the back. For the price per night, I would expect better quality mattresses. Finally, and it may have been an oversight on my part, but maybe not. The main listing picture is very deceiving, showing a two car garage. When we arrived, we originally thought we may be at the wrong house because there was no garage door, instead there was a window and single door. We pulled in the driveway and saw a light on with someone moving through the window. There was a “property manager” living in the garage. If I had known that, I wouldn’t have rented this property. W

Perfect spot for a large group
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed here with a large group for a wedding and it was perfect. There were enough rooms and two bathrooms, a kitchen with plenty of dishes and cups, and a comfortable living room. It was only a 10 minute drive into downtown Saratoga.

Cute, spacious house in a quiet neighborhood!
Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is very spacious with lots of room for sleeping. The back deck is nice with plenty of seating, however there's no light out there. Or at least we could not find one. The house was overall clean, but there were a couple of places that could have been cleaner. For example there were crumbs on the stovetop, and we had not cooked there yet. There was also crumbs behind items on the kitchen counters. The downstairs bathroom appears to be being remodeled, which resulted in some spackle flakes/dust on the floor. The signage in the home was great. Please note that the "property manager" stays in the home. We did not see him/her, but there was a sign on a locked door which indicated the property manager was in there with his/her service animal. This didn't affect our stay, however I think it's important to note since people typically think they're getting the "whole house" with VRBO. Location was excellent - just a short drive to Saratoga Lake, SPAC, and the casino.

We sincerely apologize for anything that did not meet your needs or expectations. Very rarely when we have a quick turn around between stays some cleaning items get missed because of the short time between check out and the next check in. We strive for the best experience with our guests and are glad you had a nice stay overall. The property manager is listed on all the booking documents and information but we will add it to the listing as well. The property manager was put in place to provide a better stay experience when things arise during the stay that need immediate attention. Thanks again for staying with us!

saratoga house review

I wouldnt put a 5 year old on the quality of matresses. there is a funky thermastat that hardly anyone could figure out how to use. Fire alarm went off and was out of code with no carbon monoxide detector and the wash only had hot water. ruined 2 good golf shirts with hot water when i selected cold water. also they should disclose there is an apartment attached to the house that someone stays in

Im sorry for your experience, we have had many 5 star reviews and never had complaints. The fire alarm situation was handled immediately as soon as we were made aware that the unit we thought was a combination Co and smoke detector was only a smoke detector. The detector was purchased and you were reimbursed accordingly. The information about the property managers quarters is disclosed in multiple locations, on the booking instructions and in the home, but we will add it to the main listing as well. The washing machine has a cold water setting that we have used many times successfully, but we will double check to make sure it is working properly. The thermostat is a google nest smart thermostat which we have put instructions next to for easier use. I’m sorry for your experience, we do our best to keep our guests safe and happy during their stays.
