If I am coming again to Saratoga Springs this is the place to stay :)

Parfait petit B&B proche de la piste de course.

We arrived at the Springwater at 1:30. The front door was locked, no one around. I realize that check-in was 3:00, but shouldn’t there be a staff member working to make sure that the needs of the guests are met? We called the phone number, no answer. Finally, the cleaning lady showed up, and was able to let us in, so that we could at least use the bathroom. We decided to take a drive, and come back in a few hours. Later that day, we were checked in, and escorted to our room. Perhaps it was my fault, but when I booked my room, I thought I was staying in the beautiful B&B. No. We were escorted to their “sister building,” which was over the nearby restaurant, on the street corner. Although the room was clean, and tastefully decorated, my husband, and I, were serenaded by the constant cars, trucks and buses driving by our window. I don’t feel that our room justified paying over $300 a night.

Dear Edward: We are very sorry that your recent stay at The Springwater Inn was less than enjoyable. We are a small family business and pride ourselves on giving our guests at both our properties a pleasant visit. We’re glad you were pleased with the cleanliness and appearance of your room. Let us address two of your comments. The Front Desk is staffed mornings between 7 and 11 and between 2:30pm -8 p.m. Check-in as stated on our confirmations begins at 3pm. We are pleased to arrange for an earlier (or later) check in provided we have advance notice as is explained in the confirmation you received. Not being able to reach the Front Desk is frustrating and to avoid this we post another phone number outside both the B&B & the Inn doors if the Front Desk number is not answered so an innkeeper is available 24 hours.As to the noise, our property is conveniently located just minutes from downtown in a beautiful historic neighborhood and there is a certain amount of traffic.We apologize for your discomfort and should you decide to visit again, please call us and we will help you select a room more suited to your expectations.

This was the perfect place for us to stay while attending an event at the SPAC. Super convenient location, charming room with thoughtful touches, amazing breakfast… I can’t say enough about it.

I absolutely loved staying at this sweet Bed & Breakfast. The staff were so kind and hospitable. We stayed in the Empire Room which was so big and pretty with and had an amazing bath tub. Perfect for a cozy stay. Will definitely be back!
