Publié le 11 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayWe left property 4 days early, would have left the 1st day if wasn't a holiday and difficult time to find alternative lodging. Communicated our safetly concerns before leaving, absolutely no followup from prop manager. Front door has a simple passage lock, that "sometimes" locked, sliding glass doors did not lock and took much effort to even close (were open when we arrived). Rodent feces discovered on day 2, in bathroom, kitchen very sparsely furnished, missing hardware, very worn cabinets. Kids bath/shower not working at all, missing hardware in bathrooms. Extremely poor communication from property manager, still working on getting a fair refund for our troubles. The pool pictured is no where near the property, beautiful, but a car ride and hassle to get to.
By far the worst property we have ever stayed at, Vacasa let us down big time this time!

Not what we expected
Publié le 24 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayPros: Location is quiet and close to the beach. Fully stocked kitchen. Appliances in working condition. Mattresses were comfortable.
Cons: No blankets for beds (just sheets) and shower in the main bathroom broke on the second day of our stay. Emailed and phoned property management company (Vacasa) who assured me the property manager (Kevin) would call me to arrange a time to attend to the shower. Someone dropped off blankets while we were out but I was never contacted about the shower. Luckily, the ensuite shower still worked. I also called Vacasa (the property management company) to request a late check out and was told they would call me back to confirm if that was ok. I never received a call back so we left at the regular check out time. This was not ideal as a member of our party was sick. Also, the pictures in the ad do not accurately depict the condition of the unit. The tiled floor appears damaged throughout. The rug and couch in the living room are soiled and stained to the point that we avoided using this room altogether. There were dead bugs in both showers and a couple of live cockroaches scuttling about. The condo pool was dirty the entire time we were there so we never used it, nor did we use the hot tub as it was ice cold. The beach club “access” described in the ad was useless as the club was accessed via a secure gate and we were never given the access code for it. We would not recommend this property or it’s property management company (Vacasa) to anyone else after this experience.

Thank you for your review, we sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your time with us. We are glad you enjoyed the socked kitchen and found the beds to be comfortable. We do apologize for the issues with the pool and hot tub although we have no control over these amenities. We hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future!
