Resonable stay
Publié le 29 sept. 2018 sur ExpediaThe photos on the website show beautiful rooms in the main building. Apparently they were fully booked because we were put in a separate annex, called L'Atelier. Every day we had to catch one or two spiders, since the cottage was surrounded by woods. Behind the wardrobe lots of webs. Overall stay not bad but lack of "charm" that we expect from an typical Manoir. Breakfast, 8 euro extra, sufficient but quite basic. Large table for the "hotel" guests, we were seated at a small separate table, with no interaction at all possible with the other guests. If we would not be certain of a proper hotelroom we would not book here again.

Good Morning, we appreciate your comments, I would just like to clarify that we do not assign guest rooms, as we only have 5 room individually names, and indeed L'Atelier is the former workshop which is mentioned as a separate Gite on all our sites. As the guest you select the individual room on the booking. Please also rest assured there is no difference between 'Hotel' guests and L'Atelier guests, I believe there was a group in when you stayed with us and hence they sat at the larger table in the breakfast room. Your little house spider visitors are regulars in old houses like ours, however I appreciate that they are annoying and will certainly try to tackle this with the housekeeper. I do hope you can visit us again to stay in the Manoir and we can improve on your experience, it is important that our guests are happy so I hope that in general your time in Sarlat was wonderful. Felt the comforts of home.
Publié le 26 juill. 2018 sur ExpediaEnjoyed our stay very much. Patrick showed us to our room and was very good with his instructions and answering our questions.
Our room was lovely from the space to the comfortable bed and the welcome decanted wine and fruit.
The fan was a welcome bonus for the hot July weather, especially while we slept.
We would return in a heartbeat!

Gorgeous room, in wonderful old stone house, set in a pretty garden. Can walk to town or drive and park just on outskirts.

Lots to love
Publié le 1 juin 2018 sur HotelsLots to love. In a beautiful location. Friendly and helpful staff. A little way out of town if you don't have a car- but only a 15 minute walk. Cooking facilities if you want them. Lovely garden
