Whilst being a little out of the town, the location is super with views across the valley to the mountain range. The staff were very friendly and informative, the breakfast was excellent and our room was a good size with everything as advertised. We will ensure to stay longer next time.

Man ist da gespalten. Auf der einen Seite das Hotel und die Lage, Aussicht, Sauberkeit und Pool klasse. Auf der anderen Seite merkt man, dass kleine Reparaturen nicht getätigt werden, was bei dem Preis verwunderlich ist. Außerdem darf man keine Getränke aus der Bar aufs Zimmer nehmen.

Comfortable but noisy

Paid extra for a view but ended up in “Mozart” room which was ground floor with a large bush obscuring most of the valley view and all the sunshine- a bit disappointing. Town is a short walk away and Sartène is a really interesting place to stay.

We understand your comment about the view ; this summer was more rainy and plants and trees grows more than usual ; in blooming period it's not very good to cut that's why the view was obscured.

More of a place to visit in an hour or so rather than stay overnight (local region). Hotel was fine but for what we paid left a lot to be desired, the water in fridge, apparently complimentary, had been refilled with tap water, there was a wasps nest in one of the parasols at the swimming area and I did not feel very comfortable with the cleanliness. For the pics, expected better

Sartène is a little town, 1hour yes to only visit the old town but you have many many things to do without drive a lot; perfect place to visit the region, close to beaches , mountain and historical sites.
In a minibar, drinks are not complimentary ; we check every day the consumption and fill the minibar with new bottles ; we are very surprise to read that the bottle had been filled with tap water .... it's unthinkable for us.
We live in a rural space, so yes we have wasps, mosquitos.... and we are not responsible if a nest is made by wasps, but we made them gone with a product.
About the cleanliness, we resolved this the morning after by washing the ground twice and asking our governess to check the room ; but apparently you didn't wish to admit it was ok.
The pics on our website are the real photos, taken by a photograph from Best Western, not retouched with no software.
We thank you for your stay and hope to se you again to experiment a new stay / trip in Sartène.
