Family Getaway

The location was nice and close to the provincial park, neighbour hood leaves a lot to be desired though. Little things in the house could use some touch ups, kitchen missing a few essential items but nothing major! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

We also had to remove wasps to use the hot tub that we had to figure chemicals for since it was dirty. There was also dirty laundry in the washer and in a basket in the laundry room and dryer full as well. And well the neighbour... but that's out of the owners control.

- We put a lot of care and attention into our home, making it a beautiful place for our guests, so we are happy you liked our property and amenities
- We have a very trusted cleaner for our home. We apologize that dirty clothes were in the washer and clean items weren't folded and put away. We will be sure to keep close attention to that in the future.
- We are always concerned about our guest's safety, so we spoke with you, before your arrival, about the wasps. We tried to get rid of the wasps but ran out of wasp spray. We offered the following to you; cancel your reservation, bring wasp spray with you or not use the hot tub to solve the wasp issue
- We wish you had called our guest contact during your stay to remediate any issues you were experiencing, as we are very responsive to our guest's needs
We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Pike Lake Family Getaway
Publié le 22 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayBeautiful property with lots of space for the entire family. The kayaks and canoe we could use was an added bonus. Great deck to enjoy the lake view and lily pads that were in full bloom. VRBO could have sent earlier confirmations of our booking so one wasn’t left wondering if everything was set to go. The property owner was very good in responding to our questions.

Check in was easy and the place was very clean upon entry. There is a full kitchen with a number of appliances. The only item missing was wine glasses, but we had fun drinking wine out of the juice glasses. 7 adults slept comfortably and almost every couple had their own bathroom. Out of the 6 bedrooms, two had double beds and the rest were queen sized. All the linens and towels were in great condition. Please be mindful and respectful of the neighbors. They are quite rude to start with, as long as you’re respectful they are apologetic. It sounds like they’ve had to put up with some nasty guests. I wouldn’t hesitate to either come back or to recommend for a nice family get together.

Great Get Away Spot!
Publié le 14 déc. 2021 sur HomeAwayEverything was clean and organized. We had an awesome stay. Our grandchildren visited us and some stayed the night, they loved it.. Would recommend to anyone interested in renting this vacation home. If anything was needed we were helped immediately. Thank you, we will definitely rent this home again in the future.
