SERIOUS ISSUES WITH PROPERTY MANAGER - do not rent this place if you are looking for a stress free getaway. We were accused by the property manager of being her “worst nightmare”. We rented this place for the weekend of my dad‘s funeral. On the afternoon that we were supposed to check in we still have not heard from the property manager regarding the arrangements for keys, etc. I spent approximately two hours trying to track her down to get this information. We had an uneventful stay although we found the suite to be quite uncomfortable, The sectional in the living room is almost impossible to sit on and the beds are extremely soft. Also, the location is not great, the suite is directly beside some low income housing and very noisy. Our view from the patio was somebodies dirty laundry draped over the fence all weekend.
Upon checking out, we received a notice from the property manager that we had moved furniture around and spilled drinks on the carpet, which is completely untrue. She threatened to withhold our damage deposit.We spent a considerable amount of time making sure that we left the suite in excellent condition, probably better than when we arrived. We do not appreciate being treated and threatened by a property manager in this manner and will never stay here again.
