We were greeted by Michelle and given a tour of the house. Our room was beautifully decorated and quite big enough for an overnight stay. Breakfast was a real treat - creatively cooked and served by Michelle. We enjoyed conversation around the communal dining table. So close to some wonderful hiking and other outdoor activities. Thank you to "The Homestead"

Awe! So sweet, thank you! What fun it is having such great guests, and don't you love that breakfast table filled with yummy foods and great conversation with other guests...thank you so much for taking the time to write, but also to come and visit, enjoy the peaceful life of the Sanctuary and the animals! A special place
Publié le 22 sept. 2019 sur HotelsWe had a wonderful stay at the Homestead. Our room (Rambo) was large and beautiful; breakfasts (vegan) were delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom is shared, but it wasn't a problem. We enjoyed the animal sanctuary and the bucolic setting.

Very hospitable. Great place to stay. The house is very neat. There is a shared bathroom.

Unique place to stay
Publié le 17 juill. 2019 sur HotelsGreat place to stay. Host was very welcoming and attentive. The only drawback was that you have to share the bathroom with others, but neverthless bathroom was super clean. Great experience.

Love the location and surroundings
Publié le 26 mai 2019 sur HotelsOur room was beautiful. We did see bugs. Loved the area. Be aware location is vegan with a shared bath. Check is time is restricted. Be aware. Also, TV is in the common area only.

Hi AJ. Thank you for your review. I'm terribly sorry to hear you weren't 100% satisfied with your stay. We'll be sure to devote more time and attention to making sure that no bugs make it into the Homestead. And I apologize that the check in policy did not meet your needs. Guests are welcome to check in at any time, however being a small bed and breakfast we don't have the ability to have someone on site 24/7. I hope you decide to give us another chance in the future.
