I knew in advance that this was a bare bones motel and it was. The motel was located at the back of a closed up building, so the surrounfings were rather off putting When I arrived there was no one at the front desk but after waiting for some time someone finally came to check me in. The room wss adequate and clean. The bed was comfortable. The motel was cheap and that was the main reason i stayed there.

The lighting was poor, overhead lights not working. Checked beds before retiring. Bed bug crawled on my friends neck. Moved bed off box spring, bedbugs crawling on it. Lots of garbage and food under bed, bathroom filthy. We were disgusted. Informed staff at checkout. Was told management would be contacted and would get in touch with us. No apology, no refund, no resolution. Hadn't heard from manager by evening, called hotel again. Same story, were informed that manager wasn't returning calls. I've contacted Motel 6 corporation, customer service. Am waiting to hear back from them with some type of resolution. I think a refund is the least that we should receive. All of our luggage, clothing etc needs to be treated so as to not bring bedbugs into our own home's. I sent photoscand video of the bugs to corporate.

Did not like the stay. Dirt on floor. Dirty sheets. Shower curtain moldy. TV didn't work. NO elevator. NO covered area to load luggage. No one at front desk in the morning at 930. Microwave clock didn't work. Frig ok. No other amenities.
