Location and check in were very good. The room was poor with the thermostat broken, poor lighting, sink drain plugged, no room on one side of bed for entry, only one chair, no room on bathroom sink for toiletries . Very poor value for the cost. We will not stay here again and don’t recommend.

This is really more of a motel than a hotel. The big heads-up is that the office closes at 9pm and if you're arriving later you will want to reach out to the staff to make sure you have your room number and code, and that you take care of any paperwork when they're open. The staff was very pleasant to deal with. The room had a very charming nautical theme and it was in better condition than I expected. But it's not that well soundproofed. The motel is in an excellent location if you're going to see the locks, or head to Canada, but otherwise there's not much in the immediate area, which was eerily dark and gloomy at night.

I liked the room, cute and clean. It is located close to town and campus. Great rate. Our refrigerator was leaking was the only downside.

Room was clean and cozy. Very quiet!
The door lock broke and maintenance came and replaced the lock while apologizing for the inconvenience.

Pleasant staff, clean. Room could have used another chair and maybe a lamp on the table and a few more hangers or hooks but overall, accommodations were as expected.
