Dirty Cabin
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe booked for our 6th anniversary. When we arrived, the door code did not work. Had to call 800 number times get new code. When entering the cabin, it was musty smelling. Did not smell clean at all! On the patio, the screen was torn and the hot tub was filthy ( we have a hot tub at home and we could tell it was not clean) . The headrests were filthy with visible scum on them. Water was cloudy. No way we would get in that tub! Jacuzzi was also dirty with scum . Luckily, I brought Lysol wipes and cleaned it before we got in. The couch smelled like dogs and the bed linens did not smell fresh. The wood floors were dirty and gritty. Vacasa needs to hire a new cleaning crew. Would never go back and would not recommend to anyone!

The screened porch is in a bit of disrepair and the unit could use a bit of updating. We could not get the jetted tub to turn off and tried calling Vacasa. The first call we couldn’t hear each other I had to hang up. The second call was disconnected. I then texted and the representative was troubleshooting from a manual and was of no help. We did get it off. The button appears to be failing. This is a very special property and I would probably stay again. I would recommend to owners to switch property management company or self manage.
