Smelled of weed but I suppose that’s not the hotels fault. Room was dated and could use a better housekeeper. Pool was closed so that was a bust. Definitely wasn’t worth the 187$ that I paid. Staff were very friendly tho and it was convenient for walking downtown.

I think it could use some updating, There was hardly any lighting in the bathroom and the doors and curtains seemed like they were ancient. The breakfast was okay, just basic. You’re mainly paying for the location which is excellent. I think on site valet parking is too high at $40 a night also.

My problem was them having you to fill out credit card number down when you check in. When I said I’m not comfortable to log my number. The guest service made a copy of the card without my authorization. Guess what sure enough when I had came home from hotel stay. Suspiciously happened that I had someone charged unauthorized items on my card that I used for the hotel stay. Be careful!

Comfy rooms, great restaurant

Very pleased with the room layout, like a little suite with a separate shower and sofa/desk area. The Toasted Barrel bar is quite nice, has live music 2 nites a week, bourbon flights, beer on tap, gourmet grilled cheese, etc. The location is good, close to shopping. The pool is closed for renovation and the parking “basement” is not ideal, valet only. The buffet breakfast was crowded and had few offerings, but nice oatmeal toppings…

The hotel was walkable to food and shops. Staff was very friendly. The room was nice - just need couch/chase lounge cleaned. Other than that no other complaints.
